[AKB 48] - 1
I felt that everything after the amazing opening was kind of a let down, although the final scene was pretty stupid. Also, Statelight haven't improved their CG at all. At all. I don't think I can support girls with personalities. That never goes well. |

Koutetsushin Jeeg 7-8
Well, the preview for 8 at the end of 7 sure was misleading. Very cool though. Tsubaki's going throught some changes and I think the original Jeeg might be appearing soon! Even with some offensive CG at times, this show has wonderful execution. Watching this reminded me how I briefly entertained the notion only watching good anime in May before realizing I'd end up behind on a majority of the shows I'm currently watching this season. |

![]() Tomoe is so awesome. Loved the whole "rogue batters" and "rogue pitchers" skit. And the double play that happened back in episode 4 was pretty badass. |

Also, I certainly didn't expect to see any modern cryptoastronomy making an appearance in my Sailor Moon. Nemesis? How about that. Barring the appearance of a Sailor Nemesis I wonder how much fanfiction and speculation includes such a character, heh. Now I'm wondering if Demando's whole issue with Crystal Tokyo is one of those lust-driven "if I can't have you, no one can" things because he certainly seems to have a lot of affection for Serenity. It's either that or he's just crazy and wanted to rape Usagi as some kind of power trip. Mamoru's my waifu is about to fuck another guy radar is impeccable. Sailor Moon R 84:

Also crystals? Dragons? This show is one picture of Fabio holding a sword away from some bitchin' 80s fantasy paperback fiction. |

Yeah, but the last thing he did with that project was the rather derided Beautiful Dreamer. |

That's the one and only thing that exceeds Saki in mahjong awesomeness, though.
Apart from Koizumi, all I can think of is that if they showed more of it, it might be even more awesome. But yeah, that ep had some pretty great mahjong in it, certainly. :) |

I remember watching an anime as a kid in china. I believe it's one of those designed to sell you models. I recall them being little model cars and the dudes steered them with hockey sticks. |

Fuck purism. The only responsibility an adaptation has is to be good, not to be faithful. Sometimes they coincide anyway, but sometimes they don't.

I liked this show more when it was about the harem and not about the silly romance plot. That's the problem with these haremshit cartoons: they don't realise that nobody gives two fucks if the pathetic male lead ends up with the best girl, they just wanna see the wacky hijinx. Or, in this case, not letting Konoe be the girl she always wanted to be. What a retarded lesson. |
