I'm not talking about /b/ either. Both /a/ and /v/ are total shitholes as well. I've been there and have no desire to revisit them.

Maybe they are less shithole-y than /b/ but they are still shitholes. And the other boards are too specific, inactive, or uninteresting to care about.

Gundam 00 s2 13-25

8 / 10. Compared to other gundams (well the other two Im watching), this one lacks main character turmoil over friendship, Setsuna just seemed to have to fave internal conflict with reformation and justice, so I didnt like that too much.I prefer this season more than the first one. Setsuna was pretty cool especially when he became a purebreed innovator?, Saji Crossroad, Ribbons Almarck was fun too. 00 Raiser is the best gundam to ever exist. I felt that the action got a bit hectic in the end there the suicide mobile suit clones seemed to just become blurs in the closing episodes in that heavy assault. Though the action was pretty welcome. I was always mindblown whenever 00 would quantize, how was that even possible?

The best episodes were those around the Momento mori (both times) and the Orbital Elevator and its near collapse and purging, enjoyed everyone working together as well as the moments leading up to it and swiftly there after.

On the set itself, wish Bandai had put more than just three episodes on each dvd disc, dont understand how a disc has space for only three episodes.

You can put 4 episode on a dvd if you sacrificea litte l quality and remove unnecessary ads...
how are they on that regard ?

So some pyramid adventures for a younger Lupin and Jigen. A sound idea for an episode. It allowed Jigen and Lupin to be introduced and play off each other a bit.

I was bothered by the sandpit part because of the lack of urgency. Yes, these are dangerous men, but I'm sure they didn't want to die in some pyramid. Meanwhile, Fujiko is running her mouth. I wish there was more Lupin/Jigen action throughout, but it flat lines a bit after the half-way point.

That said, I still like it more than the last episode, if for any other reason because it gave Jigen and Lupin more screentime. 5th episode and Fujiko is still flat in her execution as ever (well, tits aside).

I rather thought he was referring to the "shounen action" part of the series, rather than anything moe. The comments would certainly bear that out.

I'm preeeetty sure Kurogane doesn't post in here; AnimeGAF is hardly a huge part of internet fandom.

It just seems odd considering Viz can get five episodes on a disc (well no features), funimation gets 7 or 8, and then Bandai gets three, though there were special features on each disc. Quality wise looked standard 720p or so I guess and no ads.

AKB0048 Episode 2

This show is really kinda crazy. It's literally a AKB48 fan vehicle but done with such.... audacity that it actually starts to feel enjoyable in its own right. Kawamori has some strong drugs at Satelite, that's for sure. This episode introduces more new characters - a really annoying girl with no self confidence, a crazy genki ninja antics girl, and a quiet nerd girl who has the strangest voice. All the characters are different and unique, and they're all totally weird. Yes, there is also more action, more singing, more idols, more robots, and a deep philosophical conversation about what being an AKB idol really means! Drama, tension, action, mystery, music! This show continues to have it all!

I really should have looked at the site itself instead of relying on the screencap, apparently. I have zero familiarity with the anime blogging scene, so I honestly don't know who among us (if anyone) maintains some kind of blog on the side of posting here.

It looked like Gon was dancing. But pretty terrible in the end. Gon always shows promise but then resorts to be awful how in the world did he lose and take so much damage from Gido, who looks plain weak and against tops at that?!. They need to put more focus on Killua.

This is an interesting training arc and I hope they make it last a bit longer. Kurapika's separate plot is fine as long as they continue to show Gon/Killua/and Megane niisan. Though they need to explain more on him, what is his motivation, a role beyond just training?

Everytime they say aura for nen, I keep thinking they should just say chakra.

Wouldn't be a magical girl show without the bone fide cute mascot.

So how did they meet?

Well she went to the rough part of the mascot world.

And beat the crap out of their leader.

Awww, I kind of liked the super-pessimist, no-self-confidence girl. Admittedly, I think it's because they ran it well passed the point where most other shows would have realised how annoying it would have been. Sometimes it pays off to throw moderation to the wind.

But, yeah, somehow they managed to one-up how incredibly stupid/amazing last weeks episode was, which is kind of amazing in itself. I can't imagine that, even with someone as bonkers as Kawamori at the helm, they'll be able to keep ramping it up like that on a week by week basis.

Yet, I'll keep watching until it stops being entertaining.

And Tsumiki's bit at the end with the cats. So fucking adorable! :3

Kuroko no Basket 5

I wonder if they'll be an effect where the team in general gets better. With the talent Kagami and Kuroko bring to the court and the challenges ahead they would have to. The foreshadowing copy cat painted is possible but it's not like most NBA stars leave their team for not being as good. In those cases everyone gets better in certain aspects. I wonder how long until we get to know the rest of the bench. Kuroko also can't stay that fragile forever...I think. This show continue to deliver the entertainment.

Only one watching? They really make the fights and attacks look well. Mahiro with wind, and Takuma with fire and physical hits are the best looking. For Monado's side, the female mage had a good attack. Really need that Tamayori princess to awaken soon as it must be aggravating for Baba-sama to sit there as the artifacts she protected are taken one by one. Talisman attacks wre excellent.

Actually looking weak is the problem ..with nen , you can look weak but be awesome ..the thing that matters is your hability and how well you can use it ... This arc is there to make you understand that i can garantee you'll enjoy the end of this arc ... As for what you wish don't worry it'll be there in way you won't expect at some point in the anime...
