Update I had a little free time today so I made some fixes/changes. Fixed misspellings of "Search" Sent-To folder PMs now indicate "To" instead of "From" Changed shape of quick buttons for tablets Increased height of compose area for tablets Made compose screen buttons always visible on tablets Fixed color of usernames on list of all users for Dark Theme Pages can now be pinch-zoomed For the last one, i just enabled pinch-zooming for now. Let's see how well it works. If it doesn't cause any problems then I don't have to make it a preference setting.

This doesn't look right in landscape mode at all on my iPad. The older shape was much better.

Also, how does searching work? I mean, the search results is just a list of threads. Clicking on them will take you to the first/last/last read page. No specific results seem to be available.

When I'm clicking on the "last read" button on a thread I have not entered before, what determines how far back I am sent? I have noticed on longer threads it tends to be "Yesterday" some time, but not always.

And I noticed that the formatting options at the top when composing a post have been changed. But still no italic option?

If my iPad switches from vertical to horizontal position, it autozooms now. Doesn't bother me, but I'll just mention it.

It bothers me. It takes me an extra step to adjust it when I didn't have to before.

I'm not into the new quick buttons for iPad either but it's not that big of a deal.

Love the bigger reply scroll box though.

BUG REPORT:

Ok what the hell happened to the mobile app when it's in landscape on an iOS device? Hold the device upright, everything looks fine and proper (even though you now have the inexplicable and useless ability to zoom in, which you didn't before). But when you turn your iOS device 90 degrees into landscape view, everything enlarges and stops fitting on your screen.

The text enlarges, the pictures enlarge, you have to scroll to the right in order find the "last page" button for threads. What's up with that?

It's worth noting that it's rotating properly in this reply screen. Not for everything else, though...

This was tested on an iPad 3, iPad 2 and iPhone 4S.

You can change it in preferences to always go to the last page instead of the last post.

Any chance zooming can be disabled in the create post screen, it's actually annoying being zoomed in slightly and having to move about or zooming out to see the rest of the post now.

Replying on the iPhone now has the window slightly larger than screen, so when I'm banging in my reply the screen pans right and cuts off the first 3 letters of everything on the left. Bah!

Yeah, the auto-zooming when pressing/focusing on certain assets is annoying. Also, did anyone really want zooming? I thought one or two people wanted the ability to zoom OUT (wall of text style), but not in.

Using dolphin hd on my phone. Anyone know how to access the mobile version of this site only without switching the user agent every time? I can go to m.neogaf in desktop mode but as soon as I click a link it goes back to the full site. I prefer the desktop version of most sites but mobile gaf is nice.

Access the mobile site or switch between them? Opera and Firefox both default to the mobile one for me.

EDIT: Oh, hang on, you want a browser that can use the mobile version of GAF but defaults to desktop sites. No idea then.

On the iPad menu up top, I think it would make more sense to have Gaming and Gaming Community vertically aligned and Off-Topic and Off-Topic Community vertically aligned...right now it's a little disjointed having everything spread out horizontally.

I'd rather have thinner buttons on top of each other for easier visual reference, I think.

Anyone else think it would be great to have an optional in-line new post text field? Just something annoying I notice when trying to make posts while on 3G, that extra loading step makes me not even bother sometimes.

Has anyone else run into problems using the mobile site using the stock browser on the Hp Touchpad?

I'm pretty sure it's chewing through memory on the tablet, which eventually crashes it. I've noticed that the URL ends with page=100000 if I use the last page button to get to the last page of any thread. No idea if that has anything to do with it.

The only thing that's really bothering me is that PepsimanVsJoe's custom title isn't spaced properly because the manual breakpoint in it is replaced with nothing. Turning the breakpoint into a space would fix it right up.

Animated gifs are disabled by default in options, unless there's some other problem you're having.

Right now, if I go to the mobile site on my Windows Phone, the first link I click, it drops back to desktop mode, unless I go in and toggle the "prefer site" setting in IE to mobile. Which is annoying, because for most other sites, I prefer the desktop version so I normally leave IE set to "desktop" there.

Same goes for my Win8 tablet. I want to use the mobile site for NeoGAF on the desktop browser, but it insists on going back to desktop mode despite me using m.neogaf.com.

Okay, something weird is going on with regards to cookies and users not logged in. Since I haven't changed anything, I'm assuming it had to be changes made to the server in preparation for E3.

The main thing I'm seeing is that I'm getting other people's setting/cookies periodically. As if im getting someone elses request headers or something. Also, the cookie that used to track your read threads isnt working. Maybe it's been disabled? Maybe the admins can comment.

Users who are logged in appear to be unaffected.

It's always a pain typing a reply on my Galaxy Nexus. The way the text reply box displays is a poor experience. I assume it's because of formatting for the iPhone's puny 3.5" screen? Good riddance to that 3.5" screen for the next model.

This is really minor, but the link to your profile on the main page says "Your profile, threads & posts". You can't view your posts, or anyone's posts actually. I can accept that being a limitation of search on mobile devices, but the text shouldn't say that then.

I'm suprised nobody on this last page commented on the huge black spaces that appear.......at first it was periodically and seemingly involved with the posting of pictures withIn threads, now I'm getting the big black space on the Topics pages......perhaps this is because I regularly use the dark theme?
