Old thread is locked! Truly the end of an era.. R.I.P. secondapps v2.8, you served us quite well. Even though i'm an iPhone user, I can't say i'll miss it and it's iOS UI in comparison to this.

Not sure if it's necessary, but maybe there should be some kind of popup window that says "This is your first time here. Would you like to view the FAQ/tutorial?" or something.
It'd be just a little page showing some of the "hidden" features like the jump to bottom functionality. |

Its behavior is a setting now. Check the preferences. It's default is to take you to the first unread post.

Alright, I'm currently on my phone trying this out,but I have one big quibble that I hope someone might ponder - many of the android phones (perhaps all) that visit this site have OLED screens, which all have trouble with the color blue. The Wikipedia article on the technology of OLED covers this, but suffice it to say, blue exhausts the screens' life and can lead to burn-in in some cases.
Now I know that blue is aesthetically pleasing in the sense that it seems to give a sleek, "high tech" look to things, but I much preferred the secondapps dark aesthetic because it kept nearly everything black and white, which also saves battery on OLED devices. Would it be possible to do a dark theme that doesn't have the blue on thread titles, and has a more neutral (let's say black) "neogaf" header? Thanks. All in all I can tell that much has been improved. |

OK so it seems people already reported the login stuff, cool.
One thing I noticed as a not logged in user was that the arrow to take me to the last page of the thread from the thread list wasn't working (iPhone4s) It just sent me to the first page of the thread. Edit: Dur, seems like you guys posted about that too! |

It seems improved upon the secondapps one in every way. Besides, this was under secondapps for a bit, http://secondapps.com/mockup/

I prefer this because I like having my neogaf mobile browsing providing ad views to the site I frequent most on the internets. |

So I can't log off the desktop version of GAF when using my mobile browser. Like, I click logout, click yes, and then it says I'm logged out. But as soon as I click any link, I'm logged back in.
Also, I am logged out on the new mobile site. I guess I'll just wait till the kinks get worked out. |

Well obviously I wasn't talking about the mockup, he's referring to the original secondapps.com/neogaf back in the day. I've been using the secondapps.com/mockup for months now. Nothing has changed except it's gotten moved over to the official GAF servers, but some seem to be under the impression that this wasn't made by the same person who brought us the original secondapps site, or that it's been around for months now.

Awesome work, it makes NeoGAF usable on my old phone and looks a lot nicer than the old secondaps version. Nice work ckohler!
If possible though, I'd like to request the ability to turn off being able to open a single post? For some reason, I keep hitting it and it's messing with me. Maybe I just have fat fingers? :( |
