They come and go periodically, but yeah. 10 were up around E3, and I think they put out another batch of 10 later on. They seem to rely more on streaming through E-Shop now though. :P

Anyway, I kept mine simple. Five folders named 1-5 (or actually 1 - NES Games, 2 - GBA Games, etc.). |

So I didn't feel like using letters that actually made sense to name my folder. I used symbols and one number.
The Double Cross = 3DS software, since the 3DS is double screens. 3 = 3DS games Black Square = Gameboy, because it was a brick. @ = Gameboy Advance Outline of a Star = NES, since it's the most Mario-esque icon. |

Excellent. Looks like the S*Pass notifications on foldered items works just like I'd hoped. Markers are moved onto the folders' icons.

I can't wait to add to my packrat collection of trailers for games that have been out for ages now. I cannot bring myself to delete a single downloadable trailer.

Topical folder names work for me. System-specific names don't mean anything, unless I remember all the games on that system that I've downloaded.
M = Mario Z = Zelda m = Metroid D = Donkey Kong V = Videos (Netflix, trailers, Dreamworks 3-D videos) O = old (stuff I don't need to keep immediately available that doesn't work for the other folders Keep the stuff I'm working on out of folders, and when they're finished, move them into the relevant folder. Much better. :) |

Okay, I tried the symbol thing but I didn't like it, so I just went with the first letters of the folder names. Works for me I guess. I'm pretty content with my new HOME Menu!

I just noticed something: When I went to update my NES games I accidentally picked download now instead of later. But when I got to the download screen, they had an option to do download later again. (which I promptly clicked) I think that is pretty cool.
Nintendo is learning :'D. |

- Game & Watch: Mario's Cement Factory - Dragon Quest Wars - Zenonia - Bionic Commando - Antipole - Go Series Undead Storm - Zen Pinball 3D - Go Series Pucdun At the very least it seems to be filtered to not show you anything you already own. |

The three row set up allows for up to five things on a line and I have five folders:
Trailers Applications NES GBA Originals. I thought it looked weird if it didn't spell something. I had it as AGENT, but then I saw news of Mikami's game and changes Eshop to Originals. |

I thought it would be a bigger problem than it actually is. Turns out it's not too hard to tell what's what. I know the order they're in, so it's not really an issue. It does look a bit silly, though. Oh, well. Hopefully they'll let us change folder colors in the future.

Just started out small. Using three rows. The first page will stay the same. The second is for free apps and 3DS game downloads. I figure two or three more purchases will cause these to be put into their own folder leaving the second page just for more apps (if more come) or empty space. The third page has the folders. Just created three so far. Two for the GBA and NES ambassador games. Then third for the game trailers I have left on my 3DS. When I start buying Game Boy, GBC, and NES games I'll create folders for them.
The eShop update is pretty nice as well. I do wish the "Update" button worked but I guess that's for retail games or games sold on the eShop. I've only ever gotten an update noticed for a few of my ambassador games once they went up for sale on the eShop. Even then that update was different from the one you can get if you check your past download activity to see that the games have updates waiting. |

Is that only in the US e-shop? Can't find the section you guys are talking about.

I don't have a PS3, but Nintendo has yet to make a UI for anything as smooth and wonderful as iOS. With the resolution of the screen, you can clearly read the name of your iOS folders and you can see the icons that are within. I don't know what's to like better.
