Can't help but be a little wary of this. I figure this Harley episode is going to be a couple of hours at best. Would be pleasantly surprised if it's meaty.
I'm also in the camp who think Asylum is superior to City. The city was cool, but the interior locations were pretty meh and I felt there was actually far less exploration as a result. The game felt short too, which is weird because everyone was going on about how much bigger a game it is than Asylum. City felt slight, a series of short scenes and side missions interspersed with flying around the city. |

Same here. It wasn't that it did nothing for me, I just made the mistake of marathon platinuming AA the week before. The overwhelming structure of AC just threw me off I guess and told myself I'd come back to it and sold it off.

Though I guess getting around town would have been a bigger pain in the ass. |

The thing I mainly hated about Catwoman was her implementation in the game, she broke up Batman's story and my immersion with it. The whole idea is one of my pet peeves it's part of the reason I hate Halo 2's campaign so much. If she had a seperate mini campaign that you unlocked after completeing the main one that would be fine.
Edit: yeah the box art is terrible, it doesn't even really say what the game is , it's just a picture of Batman with "10 out of 10" above it.

To provide a contrasting opinion, one of the main reasons I picked up Arkham City (after not liking the Arkham Asylum demo) was that you can play as Catwoman. Batman's my day job, I'm always the Batman, so I'd rather be Catwoman. =D

What a genuinely nice surprise addition to one of my favourite games of this gen. Will be grabbing the DLC with gusto next week for both PS3 and 360 and will pick up the GOTY releases for both systems for completions sake. I wonder if the new release and vanilla will have separate achievements/trophies like AA?
Cover is dumb but it's a good thing I don't give two bat-shits about packaging otherwise I'd of missed out on some great games in my time. |

Ugh. I have both the PC and 360 versions of the game (don't ask why). I hope this is out on PC next week....too? Ugh.
If not, I'll get it on 360, and I'll have a pc version for literally no reason. Edit: May 29th? fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu |
