A domain means absolutely nothing. Even if Nintendo doesn't plan to bring the game over, they won't want that someone else registers the domain of their game.
Nevertheless, I'm certain that Awakening will also be released in the US. Fire Emblem would be cheap as hell to localize too -- after all it's already confirmed for Europe, so NoE is going to translate it regardless. |

Well, I don't see why we have to competing for who didn't get the games. Plus, I really like Terranigma itself tho.

For those saying that registering the domain means nothing, what percentage of registered domains for first-party games end up not being used due to a decision to drop the localization? My guess is not very many.
I realize that such an action by Nintendo doesn't confirm any intent to localize, but it's definitely a good sign. |

I'm looking at you, "Square-tache". Your name deserves to be on the "Special Thanks" of the end credits. |

This is almost certainly an NCL-mandated title, especially considering how well it is apparently doing.
I doubt the decision is in NOA's hands at all, except for when to release it. The 3DS in the west can't really afford to turn down retail games. M3DL and MK7 helped it sell really well over the last few months, but most of that Japanese support won't be coming to America until summer. |

While Mother 3 initially not coming here is something that probably could have been worked around, the fan translation has basically ensured it is never a possibility in the future.
I don't want that to deter people from making fan translations (I'm anxiously awaiting one for AAI2, if it ever comes), but the possibility of an english re-release somewhere down the line went from slim to none. |

This is a good sign. I always had a stronger feeling that this will be localized compared to the feeling I had with XenoBlade only because Nintendo doesn't dominate the casual market anymore.
So what Nintendo said about re-focusing on its core fans is coming true. We need something like this. |

I posted this at Wii U speculation thread, but I thought why not post it here as well.

Erm, I have heard of that but that was for Earthbound(Mother 2) itself. I never heard of anything that would associate to Mother 3 unless I overlook the articles.
