Yep, although I don't know Portuguese, it is very understandable when I read it. If I listen to people speaking it, then it obviously becomes much more difficult but sometimes I can follow simple sentences when it's spoken. If I read it, then it's a lot easier to understand. If I remember correctly, Brazilian Portuguese is a bit easier to understand than Portuguese from Portugal (though I could be wrong).

Admittedly a lot of these translations are for the lols, if you were to actually tranlaste the franchise properly you would cater towards idioms that work well phonetically in your language, it just makes sense.

Thats also why a lot of Spanish insults dont translate well. "me cago en Dios" or any variation of "Me cago en..." is wildly popular in Spain yet you never see some American say "I shit on God" as a means to express their anger.

The roundabout way is because there is not term that directly translates "waker" (or I do not know of it). Does Swedish have the same linguistic roots as English ? The grammatical construction and the way you can make nouns looks straightforward enough (unless there are irregularities and irregular nouns/verbs)
