They are going to have to fresh it up with new material, the formula from the past four movies is already stale.

They really should have just let this brand die after the first two. The series has become more of a skeleton than the ones they spoof in the movies. Will watch how it turns out.

paranormal activity will be the obvious main satire. Although SM4 made War of the Worlds the main focus, so who knows. They may think they are cool by doing "The Artist" as the main focus to spoof.

Really...really... I'd love a sequel (and if they could do a Pootie Tang cameo in there, I'd die happy).

Which is a shining example of what is wrong with the franchise and its knock-offs.

What's so difficult about sticking to the genre in the title?

I thought they'd ditched the Scary Movie franchise once they started making Epic/Disaster Movie and Meet The Spartans.

This will no doubt be awful, the first two films are the only remotely watchable ones these days.

The single greatest joke in the the whole series was the Doofy character from the first one, and the Keyser Sosay (can't spell) ending they had for him.

But besides that, the series is pretty shit. Scream itself was kind of a spoof to begin with, the writers of scary movie didn't really get that.

Scary Moive 4 was the worst. They should spoof Scream 4 with Cindy going back to her hometown or something. I hope Anna Faris returns (come on, she's the star of the franchise), same with Regina Hall because I flove Brenda.

Hated 2 but I liked 3. Maybe only the odd-numbered ones are good.

I would love to see some more intelligent jokes other than blatant piss taking of popular movies which is a bit juvenile. I wish they got the south park writers or maybe collaborated with writers of pineapple express type movies, they could make some really adult and intelligent humour.

There is always a stupidly funny element to all the Scary Movies. The early ones are much better though.

Also, for some reason I always get the Scream and Scary Movies mixed.

Only movie of his I know but it was fricking hilarious. Things can only get better. 4 was boring, I actually kind of liked 3 but that was because of Leslie Nielson (RIP), and 1 and 2 were OK.

3 is my favorite. The classic Zucker gags are hilarious. Really brought back some great memories of Naked Gun. I love Charlie Sheen and Simon Cox (Dirt Nasty) and of course, Leslie Nielsen (RIP).

I was really disappointed in 4 though because I thought Zucker would do it again but the gags just fell flat.

Im surprised here as well. After the Wayans Bros. sold it off, it went to 'MEH'. The first one was definitely the best.

Probably because the movies spoofing other movies don't do as well. I liked not having any "parody" movies like this out in awhile.
