Malcolm Lee has been named by EW as the director of Scary Movie 5, the next installment in the successfully comedy franchise. Lee most recently directed 2008's Soul Men and previous credits include The Best Man, Undercover Brother, Roll Bounce and Welcome Home, Roscoe Jenkins. Lee will also serve as a writer and producer for the film, alongside David Zucker, who wrote and directed the last two Scary Movies. Scary Movie 5 will shoot this summer with a targeted release of January 11, 2013.

paranormal activity will be the obvious main satire. Although SM4 made War of the Worlds the main focus, so who knows. They may think they are cool by doing "The Artist" as the main focus to spoof.

The single greatest joke in the the whole series was the Doofy character from the first one, and the Keyser Sosay (can't spell) ending they had for him.

3 is my favorite. The classic Zucker gags are hilarious. Really brought back some great memories of Naked Gun. I love Charlie Sheen and Simon Cox (Dirt Nasty) and of course, Leslie Nielsen (RIP).
