Probably not, and even if they did it would just be a re skin of that years Madden (I know the original was as well, but Madden back then was better). Do not want.
The original is still the most fun I ever had on a console, and the greatest football game made. LOL |

Well Cyanide has been humming away with Blood Bowl for what, 4-5 years now? Does that count?

No, the EA of that era is gone and has been replaced by an Activison clone.

If there was a new Mutant League game, it'd be the first sports game I'll have bought in ages.
I loved Mutant League Football as a kid (still haven't been able to track down a copy of ML Hockey) and would definitely buy any future sequels/spin-offs. I'd swear there was a version in development for PS2 - I remember seeing a screenshot or two in a gaming mag back in the day! At least it was included in EA Replay on PSP... |

Digging up some old stuff, but I was always into the idea of bringing it back while I was at EA. heres a piece of concept I did for a pitch that never went anywhere

Mutant League Football
Mutant League Hockey General Chaos (the FPS before FPS existed, chose your weapon loadout, gun jamming, had classes, etc.) ![]() Todd's Adventures in Slime (awesome playing 2p, sliming your buddy, setting up a bomb and trying to run out of the room before it exploded and wiped everything out) ![]() Such awesome multiplayer games on Genesis! The later too had shit framerate though.

Just found something interesting!
Apparently if you complete the "Blitz Gauntlet" in the newest NFL Blitz on PS3/360, you unlock a team full of zombies with the Mutant League logo on their jerseys!! I'd link a screenshot but it's on Brotaku (which I think is a banned site here...?) so just Google "NFL Blitz Mutant League" if you want to check it out. |

Man...I was the only kid in what seemed like a thousand miles that had the four player adapter for the Genesis.
Mutant League Football and General Chaos was on constant rotation. Mutant League Football would be so fucking rad. |
