Feels Bad Man
#1
Around eight o clock I took a taxi cab to get home from pathmart. I went into the taxi and I guess I messed something up because I immediately got the most painful leg cramp I have ever had in my life. It's 9 thirty right now and I took an advil forty minutes ago, I can still feel the cramp. So it makes me wonder what was the worst feeling you ever had fellow gaffers?

Well today I mulched the flower beds around my house. Shoveling 5 cubic yards of mulch is not easy on the old back and shoulders. Not the worst pain of my life but certainly doesn't feel good.
I don't have any of my prescription pain killers left either... whaaaa... |

Same as you OP. After a cross country race one day the team went out for lunch before the drive home. Near the time to leave the restaurant I was trying to get out from under the table when the meanest (first) charlie horse came on. I was still for five minutes wanting to die. Shit felt horrible.

I stepped on a nail that was sticking out of the ground. It was about 3 inches long and half of that went into my foot.
Another time, I ran full speed and fell directly onto my knee. I couldn't walk on that knee for months. And now, my leg sometimes just give out from under me. |

Yeah, this is pretty shitty. It's my #2.
My #1 is kind of grotesque, so if you're put off by such things, don't read: When I was 15, I had a pilonidal cyst on my lower back. It made lying on my back pretty much impossible, which in turn made sleep pretty difficult. I've found that it's the pain that deprives you of sleep that'll really get you. You break mentally, and the pain becomes all the more unbearable. In any case, one day I woke up one morning to find that the cyst had popped - there was reddish-brown pus all over my sheets. But at least the pain wasn't as severe. I went to the hospital to have the now-open wound looked at. They said the worst of it was over, but that they'd have to lance what was left and "extract" any pus that might still be in me. To this day I still don't know the exact method for "extraction," but I'll tell you what it felt like. It felt like someone jamming a spoon into an open wound in my body, tearing the wound more and more open, and digging out pieces of me. It felt like being stabbed slowly, over and over, for about 10 minutes. The pain was so excruciating all I could do was scream and grip the table for dear life. What's the lesson here? If you think you have a pilonidal cyst, go to the fucking doctor. Don't let it get worse. |

Things I have suffered from or still suffer from:
Crohn's disease Kidney Stones Two back surgeries thanks to a slipped disc resulting in sciatica. Of those I would say kidney stones wins in the pain department as there is nothing you can do about the pain until you get injected with a ton of morphine. Sciatica is a close second but at least you can stop the searing pain by lying down. Crohn's is only super painful for me every once in a while. Drink your water kids. |

Yep. I didn't sleep for a week. For that reason... it may be hard to believe, but the root canal was the best relief I've ever felt in my life. As soon as they bust it open and all the pressure from the blood in your tooth is alleviated, you feel normal for the first time in what feels like forever.

Waking-up from a retroperitoneal lymph node dissection surgery when I was 21. When I woke, there was a brand spankin' new scar from the bottom of my xyphoid process down to my pelvis, and moving any of my core abdominal muscles was pure agony.
I will never forget being made to get out of bed for the first time after that surgery. All the Demerol in the world couldn't have helped with that level of pain. I'm still in awe that I made it through something like that. |

Somewhat gross, so I'll spoiler-tag it for those who don't want to read it: Whenever my IBS kicks in, either I have uncontrollable shits that either look like chunky chocolate milk or meaty shits that looks like it's been tenderized. Eventually, it goes away, but not before it drains all of my energy and leaves me wishing I could die right then and there. Either way, it's awful. For well over 10 years of my life, I've had to put up with this. It's a god awful condition, and I wouldn't dare wish it upon anyone else. |

I've been lucky, worse pain I really ever had was shutting my finger in a very very heavy wooden door. Kind of door that if you let it just shut by itself, it slams hard as fuck. I slammed the door with a ton of force and it went right on my index finger. Surprised it didn't sever it off thinking back on it.

Ever blown out your eardrums? Oh fun times. I blew both of mine out while scuba diving and thought it was an ear infection and so tried to clean it out with hot water. I was screaming for hours.
Worst though was meningitis. I had a fever of 103, was dehydrated, and had severe pain for days. It felt like someone was bashing my head in all day long and all night long. I couldn't get any sleep. At a certain point I thought suicide might be preferable. |
