Sora gets a new hairdo and the future arrives. Aqua, Kairi, and Sora fuse to become Stella, and Terra and Riku form Noctis.

And with Yoko Shimomura doing the music for both, they don't even have to change any of that. And Somnus has been done for years so they finally can stop using Sanctuary or Simple and Clean.

If birth by sleep is real will it be PSP or Vita, BBS1 seemed pretty clear on telling you to hold on to save gemes that you would "find use for later" (even after doing the final chapter)

358/2 Days can take a long walk off a short pier; it'd look beyond hideous in HD and it's a terrible game to boot.

Dream Drop Distance HD might happen someday, but not nearly anytime soon.

That is just crazy. Need to keep simple and clean. Rest would fit in with the current story perfectly.
