Or they could just make a bigger game, if you want content? A DLC pack for a game like SML3D would consist of what, say, a world? 8 extra stages maybe? I'd rather wait for a game that contained 12 worlds than shell out for them individually.

On the other hand, I think it's pretty clear that most older games have no structure for paid DLC. That's why they made a big deal out of Fire Emblem Kakusei being the first Nintendo game with it.

I once thought it might. Would much rather have that than DLC.

...With all this talk, I'm starting thinking about how Sakurai would do a NSMB level...and I'm realising he would do something which is more and more mindblowing the more you progress into the level...and then, EPIC BOSS FIGHT!

Figured this would be the best place to ask. I'm going to be upgrading my 3DS' SD card in the near future. Recently, in an attempt to move my Colors! drawings to my pc, I put my current SD card into my laptop. The laptop said that it had to format it first (I just cancelled the process). Will this erase the data on the SD card in the process? The problem comes when I want to transfer everything from one card to another. I'm worried that when the time comes, I won't be able to transfer everything after the formatting process. Thanks.

Move or copy the contents of the 3DS SD card to your pc before you format. Then move/copy them back. I have done this several times and from one card to another via pc and it hasn't given me a single issue. |

^ Maybe an E3 announcement for you there, Nintendo. As an ambassador, I think it's time for the peasants to enjoy your bounty.

There is probably a demo of it up on the Wii Shop now too if you wish to try before you buy. FAKE EDIT: yep! http://www.nintendo.co.uk/NOE/en_GB/...option=cb_demo |

Figured this would be the best place to ask... but I really want to download Monster World IV (would rather play on VC than 360, due to VC's better emulation)... of course a few months ago I put on BootMii/Homebrew, due to the fact I didn't think Xenoblade was gonna make it over to the states. Will it be OK if I loaded up the shop and bought MWIV or do I need to worry about the system getting bricked?
I've played some of MWIV in Japanese (MW Collection on PS2), and later at my friend's house in English, and the game is amazing, really want my own English copy. |

Do we know exactly how the Mighty Switch Force stuff is gonna play out? Is it a title update, or a patch, or fully-fledged DLC?
In answer to your question: you're at not risk of bricking your Wii by accessing the shop with homebrew installed, so go for it. |

They should do this for NSMBMii. User creation would fit well with the Mii theme, it'd help differentiate from NSMB2 if both are coming this year and it'd be a nice show off piece for the Wii U padlet interface and NN online infrastructure.

What NSMB2 really needs is ghost trading, both via StreetPass and SpotPass. I'm sure it's relatively simple to implement, and they can go ahead and sell us new levels on top of that, I don't care--just let me record and trade speed runs/Super Guide demos and send 'em to other people. 3D Land's record trading was nice, now they need to take it to the next level.

Has it been mentioned that you can get Robin Hood for free?
https://www.facebook.com/nordcurrent An interesting way for devs to get at least a cut of their money. I wonder if we'll see more companies doing this. |

The last time I tried to participate in a promotion like this... Well, I didn't, because the numbers were never registered correctly.

I knew there was a reason I hadn't really touched MSF yet. DLC level pack should make it a meatier experience!
Meanwhile, what's everyones high score in Bird Mania 3D?

The Might Switch Force update is available in Europe, as is an update to Nintendo Video. No idea what it does yet.
