I'm VERY cautious about this game, I just hope there will be SANDBOX missions where the target doesnt know you are coming for him, and you can take him out in multiple ways. You know, like a real hitman game. |

As I said in the stealth game thread every time a game allows you the option to do silent or guns blazing it ends up being a sub-par or just ok stealth game (yes including the game my avatar is).
Not to mention it has that dumb see through walls and mark and execute feature. This game got Convictioned. |

Io have not shown one thing that has given any indication that this game will be in the spirit of the previous Hitman games. From the start they have been up front about saying David Bateson wont be providing 47's voice, which has always translated to me as "this is not a real Hitman game". I would love to be wrong, but this just looks like a better version of SC: Conviction, and I really don't want that out of a Hitman game.

It's a lot different from having to interrupt your progress to look at a map of people and then memorize them when you go back to the game. This you just slap your magic power on and look. It's streamlined, I don't know why you're trying to argue against it.

I would go along in the mission in previous games and assess each situation as I got to it. I never looked at the map and started memorizing everyone's movements. I would only look at the direction they're facing and where they're going as I got close to them. |

Also, I highly doubt "the shooting was purposely kept sub par" for those reasons. They give you an arsenal of automatic weapons to choose from before every mission, and I'm supposed to be dissuaded from using them just because it has a little recoil? Most people would manage if they were so inclined, like my aforementioned friend. |

Regarding this new trailer, loved to see snippets of how to do it the Silent Assassin way, but IO really, really, should do a core audience trailer. They've done enough of these expanded audience trailers. |

At first I was very opposed to the seeing through walls, but now I think it could actually be more of a challenge.
In previous hitman games, you could sit and memorize the entire floor choreography. You are forced to build a 3D spatial relationship now rather than having an overview. I think the burning red trail may not be the best thing, but seeing through walls didn't make batman a shitty game. |

Some of these kills were a bit messy for a professional, I'm hoping there's a good portion of social stealth and non-flashy methods like poisoning or preparing a professional snipe and that kind of stuff in there as well, these were always my favourite bits in the previous games.
Also not a huge fan of the design changes bringing im a bit closer to the Timothy Olyphant character (imo). That said, the graphics look pretty good. |

you're getting increasingly more pathetic in your responses. It's as if you are forcing yourself to hate the game and there's not turning back now. The fact is, you don't know anything more about the game than any of us, therefore, you don't know the game is completely "designed around instinct" and that the action is going to ruin the stealth, or any of the other things you've stated thus far, as fact, are true.
