Jones vs. Velasquez would be quite a scrap.
And the fact that the PS3 has been out now for almost six years is blowing my mind. The last ten years of my life have flown by completely. -_- what have I been doing with my life...

There's no way Cornmeyay can get down to 205 with all his limbs intact.

That and why exactly does he need to cut weight? No-one would risk their health asking Mark Hunt to cut weight just because he's 5'10". And Pat Barry is content to ride out his gatekeeper role at HW instead of potential greater success at a lower weight class. I have a feeling that this is solely because of clashing ambitions with Cain. Especially since the UFC is determined to ride the Brown Pride Hype Train until the wheels fall off and that doesn't leave much for Cormier's hopes of being HW champ.

I've been humbled by Black Fedor. I was hyping the War Master Barnett on the back of his inevitable victory over Can Canmier. But I was proven wrong. Oh so wrong. I'm on the Black Fedor Bandwagon now until he retires. Which knowing his luck will be from a persistent hand injury just after his first fight in the Ultimate.

We have seen enough of DC at this point to claim hes legit. He utterly destroyed a very game Barnett in very impressive fashion. I can't say the same thing about Can. Can can't take a punch and that will be his downfall in a division where 1 punch can change the course of a fight.

I don't even like Cain but the negativity regarding his talent is so overboard it's not even funny. A complete reversal of where he was a year ago. |

The Cain backlash is because the UFC went really overboard on hyping a fighter that was 9-0 against C tier competition like Rothwell and Kongo. They were billing him as "The Perfect Fighter". Anybody that has watched the Kongo fight saw right through this.
I don't think the guy sucks as much as you think I do (I like to joke about the Cain hype) but I have never been that impressed with his performances and the competition hes faced. Hes a top 10 in a division where there are horrible match ups for him.

If he got rocked multiple times and still won the fight doesn't that mean he CAN take a punch?

Yeah seriously. I don't give a damn about Cain but he's clearly way better than he's given credit for. I'd actually actively root for Back Fedor if they ever fought, but I guarantee he'd be the underdog.

A year later, now Cain is the can, JDS is the HW GOAT, and Fedor still sucks. incoming Fedor debate |

I hate heavyweights for the most part, so I'm just having fun debating the HW division and its silliness. |

I have no interest in a Cain vs JDS rematch. Cain got easily outclassed and its not even like it was a lucky punch or getting caught, he got legit killed. Getting caught is when Mir threw a lucky knee at CroCop, Franklin KOing Liddell and even Evans catching Liddell with that right.

But yeah, if Cain wants a rematch, he should wrack up 2-3 wins first. That being said, I hope Bigfoot fucking kills Cain and we never get that rematch. |

Unfortunately, Bigfoot is pretty much inferior in every area except size and jiu-jitsu, so the smart money is on Can Velasquez. |

Think of it this way: If Bigfoot loses we might get to see him legit kill Struve.

I think part of the problem is Struve being way too confident in his stand up game.
The strategy against Lavar should be painfully obvious, but I'm not at all confident that he's gonna go in there and get a TD before getting his head knocked off. He waits around way too long when it's a clear advantage, e.g. against Barry. |

It's hard to trust an MMA fighter's opinion on anything because there's almost always some kind of hidden bias or politrickin' going on. |
