I happened to obtain another key and decided to do a giveaway based on those that were unsuccessful in the thread.
http://youtu.be/YB5MxUwvPFI?hd=1 ^^ It was done fairly. and the winner is... FXP, check your PM for a key. If by chance you manage to get another key FXP, then please consider passing it onto a fellow GAF member. |

Not a fan of the user interface. It's been too long since I played the original, but I can't remember it was this messy. Way too many buttons and icons plastered all over the screen.
Graphical style is nice, but I can't see a thing when the heat is on. I just spam stuff with my embermage hoping to hit something. It looks like everything just blends together in combat. |

Fantastic game so far. My main annoyance, which I can't really hold against them, is ye olde school D2 skill point system complete with too many passives. After playing D3 it's just a step backwards, and it seems to me the main reason people like it is just that they're comfortable and familiar with it. Anyway they're obviously not going to change this so this isn't very useful feedback.
Still, apart from that which is just a design choice, everything else is spot on. Graphics are crisp, spell effects are good, enemies are good, feedback on all your actions is amazing. Some more useful feedback would be: 1) the hitbox on enemies could be a little larger 2) mana regeneration could be a bit higher for my low level Berserker, it's no fun running out of mana all the time. |

Yea.. this is why they should have went with Steamworks and did the beta on Steam. Started downloading at roughly 1:30cst and the download says it will be done in an hour and a half.

If people are following IGN on facebook they are releasing keys on there. They posted a few but they might add more on the comments.

Just finished the first quest.
This is really good. If you've played TL1 you'll be right at home here. And it's far better imo. Runs smooth as silk, nice animations, the music is awesome. Not got many skills yet as a Berkerker, but going down the.. umm.. can't think of the name of the tree, but its the feral one. Turn into a big ass wolf and run through mobs with crit+ and also pick up 6% health. Lotta fun. Voice acting is ok, nothing special. I love the interface. Playing on 2nd hardest difficulty which feels about right. Runic have really upped their game. Unless things take a noseive later tonight, this went from a "I'll get it when i can" to day 1. |

They only have 30 employees, an MMO would require them to get a publisher to fund it which I don't think they like.
