Any word how much of the game is in the beta? Played all night with a few friends and was kind of amazed how much content was included. Stopped around levels 18-20, and that took many hours of play. Very impressed with the game.

It's only Act 1. Level cap is currently 21

Watched a few videos of Torchlight 2, really like what I say but I doubt I will play this game if I already have Diablo 3 installed. This game needs to come out on consoles or even handheld system like a Vita, then I would definitely give it a shot.

Want to pwn mobs as an Outlander?

Put as many points as you can into Glaive Throw, Charge Mastery, Poison Burst, then split the points into Long Ranged Mastery and Bullseye Mastery depending on what kind of weapon you're using, take note of what weapons apply before doing so.

Spam the SHIT out of Glaive Throw and it's GG providing you have a fairly high crit rate and crit bonus damage.

That was a bug fixed today, rolling a new character will fix it. You can go to the end of Act I.

Damn, so act 1 is gigantic... how many acts is the game slated to be then?

How big will the game be? The entirety of Torchlight 1 is equal to the 2/3 of the first Act of Torchlight 2. There are three full Acts and one Boss Act in Torchlight 2. If you were to rush through the entire game, ignoring all side quests and exploration, it is estimated to take about 30 hours to complete the story, as opposed to the relaxed 6-8 hours it took to beat Torchlight 1 on normal.

I'm a lvl 12 outlander so far and it's a lot of fun. The game seems a fair bit more difficult to me, but then I would never class myself as very good at these games. I found the general grell boss to be a real pain in the ass, but it was fun dying several times just to kill him.

Loving the pet choices! I've only played on my own so far as to get used to playing Torchlight again. I didn't want to join a game and suck badly. :]

For $20 this game looks to be a very good deal. I loved the first game and this looks to be a major improvement over it. I was deciding between picking this up and D3, but man, this looks like the better deal overall. Just pointing that out! I'm not comparing the other two really; just trying to decide on a purchase!

Yeah I traded a CS:GO beta for it over Steam. Happy with that because when I played CS:GO myself I thought it was awful.
