Does anyone have any tips for getting a short replay to save as a video? I'm trying to finish the very last Steam achievement thing, but both an old and new replay have crashed every single time, whether I try small or standard size. It just goes to the render progress bar, doesn't get any progress, and immediately crashes. :(

Tips for Obscure_remake tonight

- Make sure everyone knows the quick way to mid. Solider needs to whip everyone out. I'd have everyone practice running out together 2-3 times before the match starts tonight.
- Watch out for back caps on the last point. It caps really quick.
- Fall back if it's a lost cause on a point. If your whole team gets wiped you're in trouble... if 4-5 of you stay alive you can hold and push back.
- The left resupply cabinet in the Red team's base is broken on the version of the map we're playing tonight. Not a huge deal unless you're defending the last point.

Why am I sharing this with TF2-GAF? Because I'm a whore and shill games I love, and you guys are my favorite game-related GAF community. And surely some of you have good taste, like RPGs, or aren't afraid to try new games.

I couldn't get into The Last Remnant. I didn't quite get the battle system and the game didn't make me want to learn it so I just dropped it.

Compressed air can very probably give you frostbite, and you could probably find creative ways to blind or maim yourself with it, but don't do that.

I hated TLR and anti-recommend it. Terrible characters, and a shitty battle system. It has nothing going for it.

The only terrible characters are Rush and Irina. Rush is a moron and Irina's about as interesting as lesbian porn. Everyone else is "okay," and Emma is the only great one. But you don't play TLR for the characters or story (though some of the recruitable units you can get are pretty cool).

TLR absolutely does have something going for it: the battle system. I completely disagree with you on that part. The music is another thing it does well.
