I enjoyed this movie.

Basically Steve Carell meets Ryan Gosling and gains 75 Charisma.

The twist near the end was interesting - made me crack up. Hinted at earlier, but certainly unexpected. Personally I felt the movie could have ended there at the backyard scene or shortly thereafter. It dragged along into a more happy ending, which is okay I suppose.

Lots of funny lines and some subtler jokes though.

I loved this movie. And that damn haircut.

Also, Charisma is measured in digits 1 to 10, bro.

One of my most favorite flicks of last year. Came out of left field, didn't expect much, but ended up loving it.

Just watched the movie a couple of days ago at the behest of the gf. Thought it was a silly romance movie, however was pleasantly surprised as it had quite a bit of funny in it. The teacher was the best character. Ryan Gosling is a pimp and the redhead wife of Michael Scott is still smoking.

The teacher character was definitely very entertaining. Was not expecting her to be the son's teacher. All the relationships in the movie just knot together.

Ryan Gosling's character reminded me a lot of Brad Pitt's character in Ocean's 11/12/13. Just the style and demeanor. Though I suppose it's sort of your archetypical ladies' man.

Wife and I bought this recently. Definitely enjoyable.

Twist was actually pretty good.

Really cute movie, neighbor suggested it and for once I really enjoyed something she recommended XD The twist during the backyard scene was hilarious, I don't think that it should have ended there though. I agree that it didn't have to have a happy ending, but that's okay. Still loved it.

Oh, and Gosling.

Yah.

I liked this movie a lot too. I wasn't the biggest fan of the twist though.

I love Carell in semi serious roles like this.

It was good, harmless fun. Everyone was good, but I've gotten sick of Marisa Tomei, don't know why. This movie just confirmed Ryan Gosling's heart-throb status. Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling had the funniest scene:

Probably my favourite romcom ever. Carrell's makeover sequence is amazing and I died at Ryan Gosling's reaction to the wallet.

It was better than I thought it would be, not great. How many movies is Steve Carrell gonna make about people taking him under their wing because he's such a loser with women?

The kid was the most annoying part of the movie.

The spend the night scene between stone and gosling is one of my favorite bits from any movie last year. Two people connecting. Everything about that scene felt natural. It was just sweet.

Everything else was p weak in my opinion, especially the supposed "twist."

I have a major man crush on Ryan Gosling, so naturally I loved the movie. I saw it after Drive (which was awesome), and it was really weird to see him as such a suave ladies man after his near-autistic Drive character. Twist at the end honestly surprised me, which is more than I can say for any romcom I've ever watched
