My wife and I soon had our favorites and we spent about $14 tipping them over the hour or so that we spent at the stage.

Unfortunately there were a couple of dancers that seemed to have a bad attitude. Not willing to strip unless you threw some cash at them, sometimes they'd just stop dancing all together, one even walked off stage in the middle of a song. But the majority of them just seemed to really enjoy dancing to the music and putting on a show, whether they were getting tipped or not. Overall it cost as much as a movie with popcorn and drinks costs us now a days, and we both agreed it was much more enjoyable.

Here's how it goes in the U.S. If you want the stripper to grind up on you while they are on stage, you tip. Otherwise, just watch from your chair while they do their thing. You can also get table dances or lap dances. Table dances, the strippers strips at your table. Lap dances, you get taken back to some other area. Because the lap dances are more intimate, you pay more for lap dances versus table dances (typically about $5 more per song but rates can always be negotiated).

Warning to those in a relationship, make sure they stripper does not buy you drinks as soon as you arrive.
