Never done this before but figured I would use fraps since there is a free version and I only need to do it once for a class.

Problem is when I hit the record video hotkey nothing gets saved.

Anyone have any experience doing things like this and have any free program suggestions on how to do this? The free version of camtasia the professor suggested won't even run (gives me crazy errors despite having a rather powerful PC).
