I doubt it. If FOX wanted them to shoot for a PG13 and some little thing got them an R, FOX would appeal that shit in a fucking heartbeat and make any minor necessary cuts to ensure a PG13.

Hopefully not. I've been assuming that the movie would be PG-13, TBH. I'd say it'd be pretty obvious at the script stage if it was an R-rated film.

But with that said if they did shoot for a hard PG-13, got hit with an R, but believed in the cut of the film and stuck with it then good on them. Would have been easy to cut the offending material at that point if it was borderline. |

Also my guess for the offending content that ultimately landed this thing an R is the caesarian alien removal that shit looks intense |
