My fav side from KFC is the mac and cheese, easily. Then the beans. Then the wedges. Then the etc...etc...Or in other words, you got the worst side from them possible. Really not a good representation.

Pretty much. I only go for the tenders that around here are huge. Of course this place called Lisa's Chicken is killing them in the tenders department.
![]() As for KFC vs Popeyes. Popeyes all the way baby. Get away from me with that KFC love.

As a non american, I went with some friends to new york some months ago. We have KFC in our home country (the only fast food chicken restaurants here are KFC), and they are BIG fans of it, so they wanted to taste how was KFC in america. We went a had a good meal, it was not impressive but good. One or two days later we went to a Popeye (we didnt know what it was, apart of being a chicken restaurant) and the food we had there was FUCKING DELICIOUS! In fact it was much better than KFC and ate a lot.
As I said my friends are big fans of KFC (I like it, but im not really a fan) and all of them said that Popeye was much better. EDIT Having read a poster above me, we also have in my country El Pollo Loco, but Ive never been to one (theres like only one and its outside of the city joined with a Pans & Company)

I love this!
To the OP - it depends where you are in the world, the original recipe in Australia is shitty and boring, its just flour coated chicken. We only get hot and spicy for 4 weeks in melbourne every year around june as a special. That stuff is great and i like to get it once or twice when its around. KFC original recipe I would get once a year maybe. Secondly it depends on the buying power of KFC in your country... in Australia its great because they buy tons of fresh chicken and the turnover is quick. In Malaysia as well, the chicken is good too, not as good as Australia but decent. However Marry Brown and Popeyes in Malaysia is terrible. SO BAD... popeyes is a bit better, marry brown is not even chicken, i dont know how they survive. Its really dry and the portions are small and there's no taste and it feels like eating dried jerky meat thats been dried several times over. KFC is not that flash in South America either... and there's hardly any KFCs in Europe... |

Bojangles. The fried chicken for the type of "man" who goes on low-carb diets and counts calories. |
