Linger in Shadows has a metascore of 59 and is by the same studio. It's one of my favourite experiences this gen.

Without having played Datura, I'd say that if you're interested in playing something that you've never seen before, anywhere, you should propably check it out. Think of it as something to broaden your palette.

I'm sure as hell going to buy it and not give a toss about worthless metascores.

Yeah, I couldn't agree more. Don't expect too much from gameplay in Datura. It's an interactive art piece first, game second. It's really better to have that expectation in check, and not expect that you'll get a next gen spriritual sequel to Myst with complex puzzles, or anything like that.
