Like others said, just buy the HD collection on PS3 for Peace Walker alone. The 60+ hours of fantastical gameplay more than justifies the price. |

I'm pretty sure the install was just due to the slow UMD which wouldn't be an issue on Vita so they could pretty much just straight up dump that 1.8GB UMD's data on an 8GB card. |

That definitely plays into it as well, but needless to say, a theoretical Peace Walker HD for Vita would not fit on the same card as MGS2 & 3. :P

720x448 is, therefore, more demanding than 512x448 (the resolution of MGS3 on PS2). You can't simply say "it's the same resolution...in widescreen" as that doesn't make sense. Now, with something like the Wii with its anamorphic widescreen games, that makes more sense. The Wii renders ~640x480 regardless of content and the FOV, interface, and HUD are all squished when 16:9 is selected while the games rely on an external scaler to translate them to 16:9. The resolution Wii uses is still just 4:3 if you go by its 1:1 pixel nature (assuming square pixels). |

It'll still be missing Ghost Babel, Portable Ops, and the non-canon NES games, but it's a near complete experience on a handheld. I like it! |

I skipped on the PS3 version, the gameplay tweaks they have made on the PSVita version make this a buy for me.
Is the US/Euro release confirmed for June? Btw June will be a good month to have a Vita, now if they could get the Psone support in, I could replay the whole MGS trilogy on Vita. |

shh! it's already 2014!

My only complaint is that they didn't play MGS 2. Looks fucking awesome.

I'm not sure what they can add to the game that wasn't already present in the console versions. Maybe remove half of the vehicle battles to make it a better game?

Unless you weren't referring to that at all and talking about something else, in which case, ignore this post. |

That actually looks pretty good. The touch controls seem pretty useful and are decent additions. If I had a Vita I would probably buy this. Not even probably, I would. I love MGS3 and 2 that much. I assume though that 2 will have the same touch controls. Should have the back touch makes Raiden do cartwheels.
