Halo 4, AC3, RE6, Tomb Raider, FC3, Borderlands 2, and the Wii U are still there so there will still be good stuff to play. It's probably better for this game sales wise because it won't be crammed between RE6 and AC3.

I'm not too bummed about this. More time for RE6, AC3 and WiiU this fall. Less competition next spring & the game will ultimately be better.

Still, despite what Levine says, this was clearly business. Between CoD, Halo, RE6, AC3 and WiiU, it's a really, really crowded Fall.

If I were a developer, I'd be increasingly nervous about shifting things into 2013. As it stands, an awful lot of my gametime in 2013 has been earmarked for various Kickstarter projects which should be bearing fruit around that time.

The "new opportunities" statement does strike me as suggesting a new platform. Maybe Wii U, although I'm wondering if Feb could also be a release date for the next MS or Sony console? It's a bit earlier than expected, but doesn't strike me as outside the realms of possibility.

Bioshock was one of the big titles I was looking forward to this year, but given the amount of awesome titles coming out I think I can wait for it.

In order of what I'm looking forward to the most. Last year had so many good games come out, I felt like I ended up rushing through some of them, so this year I might only get a couple on release and then wait for the rest. I think dishonoured will end up being delayed anyway and I'm cautiously optimistic about Aliens but could easily wait on buying it. As for the rest, BLOPs was the only COD game i have played online and loved it so i will probably get the next one, and i love the games in the RE and AC series. Naught Dog are awesome so the last of us should be good.

Love Ken Levines work, but the Bioshock games are not the kinds of games that should take 5 1/2 years to finish. Games like Skyrim and GTA sure, but not a Bioshock on Unreal Engine.
