These are more arrangements than remixes, but it seems difficult to find arrangements that do the original songs justice. I'm somewhat surprised this dude's channel doesn't have more views considering how well these arrangements are made.

One Winged Angel vs. Kefka's Theme/Dancing Mad, which starts with Kefka trolling Sephiroth hard in music form. Starts at about 4:30 in the medley.

Came in expecting ponytail-nerd metal.
Was pretty much right. But I'll throw in my two cents... I thought this was pretty awesome, even if I'm not crazy about Sunshine Super Mario Sunshie - Delfino Plaza Remix |

One of my favorite Sonic & Knuckles remixes:
LeeBro - Exhilaration (Sonic & Knuckles - Hidden Palace Zone) Fun fact: LeeBro went on to make music for SEGA as Bentley Jones, composing the song "Dreams of an Absolution" for Sonic the Hedgehog 2006. |

Emotions Lost in Time by Ghetto Lee Lewis
It's a remix of "Be Absentminded" from Tales of Phantasia. I've never played it myself but a friend of mine sent this to me long ago and I've always liked it. |

I bring another EPIC remix
#169
![]() The game was so hard I didn't even bother. But the music (well, for the first level as that's as far as I bothered) was EASILY top 10 tracks ever from a NES game. Original: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oJh8_p5ZvPg Remix 101 - A Lesson: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=xn8zj1--_bg |

There was a Japanese guy in a mask called 'Kukirinton Fox' that appeared a few years ago and created some of the most epic covers I've ever heard in my damn life. This guy hasn't been topped in my book. Incredible.

I always enjoyed this Chrono Trigger Corridors of Time mix.
I'm a big fan of this amateur remixer I see here and again called Darangen, here is his take on Terra's Theme from FFVI and a theme from Kingdom Hearts. And just because it blew my freaking mind: Chrono Trigger played on beer bottles. |

Just found this one and thought this thread could use the bump. And this is even better because it's people playing REAL INSTRUMENTS IN FRONT OF YOU! This is quite awesome!
Streets of Rage Keep The Groovin' Original: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cxIOsGS55qs Live Cover: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hZe1BWbXENI One of my personal favorite music pieces of all time. And it brings back some really strong nostalgic feelings about my dad, as he let me listen to a lot of gaming music (including this) as we took a road to CES back in '92 (one of the 2 years it was open to the public). We were going to go the next year too but he got ill just as we were preparing to go. Turns out it was cancer and he fought it for nearly two years before it won. I loved this piece before, but it has a special place since for obvious reasons. This cover made me almost tear up, as he would've dug this a lot as he was really into jazz. Ok, enough heartstring tugging from me. Hope you all dig this too. |

I thought each song was amazing on it's own, but the remix they put on the teaser for the iOS version tease was fantastic. |

Its hard for me to appreciate most of OCremix stuff since a lot of amateur remixers tend to create techno versions of their favorite songs more so than any other style. A couple of professional remix songs that I have recently enjoyed are: a. Persona 3 velvet room remix: This is the original version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jcYzZjIpSek The remixed version is from persona 4 the animation album: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MD-vFlUkgI4 b. Final fantasy 7 main theme: Original version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6UARM4q7hHU Remixed/remade version is from recently released FF Orchestra: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XQVSHyNwHGU There have been dozens of FF7 main theme orchestral takes. This is probably the best produced version. c. Final fantasy 1-14 battle medleys: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8cMp3LS3T0k The battle medley of FFXIII here is absurdly amazing - starts at 11:30 |

This was posted earlier for the boss remix at the end. But I am tearing up like a stupid baby at the Kingdom Hearts to Chrono Trigger segue at 49:15. The whole Chrono Medley is godly. Frog's Theme mixed with Scar's of Time? RIGHT IN MY HEART.
