I am actually glad about it, the dev diarys sold me anyway and the artstyle is fantastic. Previews sound too good to be true so I hope E3 is where this game shines.

Yeah, they said it was delayed because of quality issues and Human Head is no longer working on it.

Very stoked for this game, and I know nothing beyond the concept and the developer's pedigrees. Thankfully, I have too many games like this sitting in my Steam backlog to where I won't be tempted to burn out my wallet right away. I still need to play Human Revolution, Bloodlines, etc

Let's review this again.

GFW only means "Games for Windows" -- it's just a branding/certification. It doesn't mean that it's using Games for Windows LIVE. For example, Skyrim is a GFW game, but it uses Steamworks.

And do you understand that games are a medium that tends to improve through iteration? The spectrum of opinion on both Borderlands and RE5 is wide; I didn't even like RE5 -- but that doesn't immediately mean I am not interested on a new take. Arkane is a C-tier studio and the game has no substantial footage to assess its potential -- call me a skeptic.

Keyword is tends. And, of course, there is probably a point in time where iteration tends to have the opposite effect. Resident Evil might be there.
