Oh if it's via Steam then that's OK lol. Why is I am OK with dling to my PC but not to my PS3 when it comes to big files?
I hear ya bro, I'd get an HD Collection of those 2 games in a heartbeat...would make my collection semi-complete ;.; ...and give Y1 a dual audio option, I mean come on MAJIMA GORO IS VOICED BY MARK HAMILL!

It wouldn't make any sense anyway. PC gaming isn't popular in Japan and that's where the vast majority of Yakuza sales occur, so they'd have to rely entirely on the western PC market to even justify it. Too much of a risk.

I could see them porting Yakuza 1 and 2 to the Vita. They probably wouldn't bother localising them though, even with the translations already done.

The remaining five will include your two suggestions, Monkey Ball and Sonic Racing, leaving just three that I have no clue about. Easy guess would be a bunch of Mega Drive ports but who knows. PSN certainly makes it very easy for them to support the system with a number of games.
It's by SKU count. So that means...

Nintendo 3DS
-Rhythm Thief & the Emporer's Treasure (NA)
-Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing Transformed (NA)
-Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing Transformed (EU)

PS Vita

It's good, I even liked the modern sections. Feels like they slowed Sonic down a tad from Unleashed so that you can actually...you know..platform .

Also looking at the chart we can deduce Virtua Tennis 4 Vita shipped 150k worldwide. For comparison last year, Super Monkey Ball 3DS shipped 360k.

Yakuza 1 & 2 are viable for HD remakes. The frame rates and load times of the original games are horrible. Yakuza 5 is coming out in 2013, at that point it has been 7 years or so since the original and releasing Y1 & Y2 will serve a purpose of familiarizing new fans with the original story. The Yakuza audience in Japan alone is enough to justify HD rereleases. I don't think adding an English language option to a western release would be a big deal. Besides, I've heard rumors that Y5 will have some plot hooks back to Y1 & Y2 whether that is that Nishiki or Goda lived.

That would make sense but Rhythm Thief came out in Europe within the current financial year, so that would add up to 4 games. And the PS3 and 360 numbers would make no sense whatsoever given that these games are confirmed to be coming out in the first half of the FY:

PS3
-Anarchy Reigns (JP)
-Anarchy Reigns (NA)
-Anarchy Reigns (EU)
-London 2012 (NA)
-London 2012 (EU)
-Sonic 3: Episode II (JP)

360

-London 2012 (NA)
-London 2012 (EU)
-Sonic 3: Episode II (JP)
-Sonic 3: Episode II (NA)
-Sonic 3: Episode II (EU)

So how exactly do they fit into the PS3s 5 releases and 360s 3 releases?

But even if you're right, what 3 games are coming out in the then? Hatsune, Samurai & Dragons and...? One version of Monkey Ball?

Sonic 4 Ep.II is a digital game.

those SKUs in the document are for retail games

so for PS3:
-Anarchy Reigns (JP)
-Anarchy Reigns (NA)
-Anarchy Reigns (EU)
-London 2012 (NA)
-London 2012 (EU)
-Aliens : CM (NA)
-Aliens : CM (EU)
-SONIC & All Stars Racing Transformed (NA)
-SONIC & All Stars Racing Transformed (EU)
-Hatsune Miku Project DIVA NEXT (JP)
-K-ON Re-mastered HD (JP)
-Ryu Ga Gotoku 5 (JP)

360 is the same minus the last three, so i think something is wrong with this report because there supposed to be 9 SKUs for the 360 not 7

also my guess for the Wii U since it's not part of the report:
-Aliens : CM (NA) launch title
-Aliens : CM (EU) launch title
-SONIC & All Stars Racing Transformed (NA)
-SONIC & All Stars Racing Transformed (EU)
-SONIC Generations 'including exclusive zones' (NA) launch title
-SONIC Generations 'including exclusive zones' (EU) launch title
-SONIC Generations 'including exclusive zones' (JP) launch title
-new Super Monkey Ball (NA)
-new Super Monkey Ball (EU)
-new Super Monkey Ball (JP)
-new SONIC title by colors team (NA) Q1 2013
-new SONIC title by colors team (EU) Q1 2013
-new SONIC title by colors team (JP) Q1 2013

Yes, I considered that they excluded digital games but it still didn't match the number of 360 SKUs listed. The Through 2Q number is 3, when it should be 5. They're excluding 2 SKUs from either London 2012 or Anarchy Reigns.

I was pretty much thinking something along those lines, SEGA is greatly cutting down on physical games. which is what this chart is about.
Edit: although i'd take out PSO2 and Samurai and Dragons, those are digital games, replace their SKU's with US and EU release of the hardlight studio game

Rhythm Thief released in Europe less than a week into April, Sega is most likely counting it for the previous quarter as part of their shipments. They did the exact same thing for Bayonetta's western release iirc (counted for FYQ3, released in FYQ4).

For the HD stuff my guess is the Olympics game got delayed or maybe the physical release was canceled altogether. There's lots of possibilities, but these being SKU counts is 100% confirmed.

Wouldn't surprise me if the difference is entirely on the handheld side of things. Colors DS had a much larger userbase to sell to and didn't look terrible leading up to release.

I expect Generation 3DS came much closer to Colors DS than Generations 360, PS3 or PC did to Colors Wii.

Colors might have had a significantly larger handheld base to sell to, but Generations had an equally larger console/computer base advantage.

Yeah, it's nice to see them embrace PC gaming/digital download.

Oh, and some upcoming SEGA games for PC:

Sonic the hedgehog 4 episode 2
Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed
Jet Set Radio HD
Phantasy Star Online 2
