Good Evening GAFfers.

Now before you all start screaming and shouting that this thread is a mistake in an attempt to be funny or make it back-fire, hear me out. I have done a search of this forum to see if there were any recent threads of the same nature, but received no results.

Mistakes made on live television or stories told by people about how they made a horrible mistake delivers an immense amount of hilarity, so I thought "hey, why not have a catch-all thread on GAF". This is in the hope that either some amazing anecdotes can be told, or videos of face-palm moments can be shared here.

To (hopefully) start us off, seeing as I do not have a story to tell (at least, not at the moment) I will share a classic wrestling-related botch: if you haven't already seen it

I swear to God 10 years ago a local central New York news station ran a heartwarming story about a stripper that became a radio DJ or something and at the end one of the anchors said "Keep on stripping" as though he had not listened to one bit of the story. My wife and I still reference it to this day but I've never been able to find it.

One time, I was watching CBC (or CBUT. Whatever it was at the time), and they always did this little cut to this lady telling you what was going to be on the evening news later during commercial breaks or before a show started. Well, I had no idea these things were live until one time they cut to her, she started her sentence, coughed, and then just said "I'm so sorry." and they went back to playing commercials.
