All these summer comic book movies have brought out my inner nerd. I was wondering if given the opportunity, say for example you were struck by lighting -don't argue with my comic book logic- and in a brief glimpse given power by.... Asguardians to either be Super smart or Super Strong, which would you choose?

BTW lifting your 'left' hand will give you strength and 'right' the smarts. Just thought that bit of detail needed to be said.

And before anyone asks I know if everyone receives this power then it is like no one has, so for sake of this thread when struck by lightening everyone is teleported in to a different Earth in a multi-verse.

Being the strongest in the world would have no meaning unless you were constantly having to prove it to others. Both might be extremely dehumanizing experiences, as others found you unrelatable in some way.

In the whole world you will be unmatched in strength or brains. So basically Hulk with control or Steven Hawking x10.

As the smartest person I'd be working to figure that one out, so I'll go with that. Strongest doesn't really emphasis human strengths, although having a perfect body that excelled in all areas could be a different story.

... Though for video games I tend to go for strongest. Usually then I'm not a glass canon or anything.

This is another reason for picking smartest when it's strictly smartest or strongest: you could use them to move into a position to get rich. Though I guess this is depending on HOW you're smartest.
