His interpretation of Magneto single-handedly made First Class a top 5 comic book movie.

Sylvester Stallone as Judge Dredd. "I am...the law!"

Seriously, RDJ as Tony Stark is awesome. As is Heath Ledger as The Joker and Patrick Stewart as Professor X.

you know its funny, i think the best Batman casting we ever got beyond Heath Ledger as the Joker is probably Gary Oldman as Jim Gordon.

Also, Christian Bale never gets enough credit for being a perfect Bruce Wayne. He was also great as Batman in BB. Too bad his stupid ass voice in TDK made people think his entire performance sucked.

This right here. If you haven't seen Spiderman 2.1, which has extra scenes with Jonah then you missed something special. Don't google it or youtube, just find that version of the film and watch it.

Alot of others are really really good (RDJ, Ledger, Oldman's Gordon, etc) but this. THIS.

To have Jameson, as well as Cave Johnson and other recent roles (even the Farmers Insurance ads) made me forget that he was ever the villianous Schillinger in OZ. A great role, sure, but just about the worst person ever put on film.

Gary Oldman's Gordon was awesome .. but mostly because he is Gary Oldman and he can't do a bad role even if he tryed (and guessing by that red ridding hood movie, he damn tryed)

Does animated counts ?
Because Return of the Joker beats Ledger with a fish

Asterix first movie, Spielberg's Tintin, Watchmen, Sin City and Scott Pilgrim had lots of awesome ones ...even if they fidelity was a little hilarious at times .. but nothing tops :

Patrick as Professor X - To me no one will ever reach how perfect they fit a roile as he did Pro X.

My favorites aside from him though

Chris - Thor. I was really shocked they actually made him work and he pulled the role well when Thor was being Thor and not a love sick puppy. Actually all of the Asgardians are amazing, Loki and even Odin was casted really well.

I would say for Mags I actually prefer Ian. Not because he is better but because I think Ian and Patrick pulled off the Magneto and Xavier feeling better, to me.

Lastly would be Keaton as Batman. To this day no one does Bats well and makes me want to watch him like Keaton. I will say Bale can do a great Bruce but he falls far short of Keaton when it comes to the cowl.

Prof. X and Magneto in both X-Men and First Class
Wolverine
Iron Man
Thor and Loki
RuffaHulk
Kevin Conroy Batman
Hamill as Joker. Nicolas and Heath deserve praise for their interpretations but Hamill's voice forever nailed the Joker's personality in my ears.
Killer Croc from Batman Arkham series (I am way off movies now but whatever)

Everyone from the Avengers deserves props, not all of them were perfect but they fit their roles very well.

He just got his shit stole in the sequel by Ledger.

J.K. Simmons is my ultimate choice. I can hardly validate choosing anyone else (thought I wouldn't judge anyone for disagreeing). It's not even the physical appearance - the delivery is pitch perfect. Only RDJ, Jackman, and Perlman compare for me.

I cannot wait until we get the "least favourite actor's interpretation of a comic book character on film". So many examples.
