Given the amount of trailers and gameplay we have seen from Versus I really think puts it ahead of TLG.

Both are bad, but at least with Versus we have reasons for the long delay and something to show.

We saw actual game play of Versus XIII with combat system and stuff, but in TLG case we saw nothing that even represent a video game.

I think it's still just some ideas and they are unable to make a game of them (like what happened to kjpro's Rising)

Today's gold announcement was the first official confirmation that a third Half-Life 2 episodic update is in development. Like Episode Two, Valve divulged little in the way of information about Episode Three, saying only that it was the last "in a trilogy...that will conclude by Christmas of 2007."

Well my logic is that Sony can pour more money into this game, but will Square do the same for Versus? I know we have more info for Versus than TLG at this point, but that has also pretty much dried up now. Both games will be out eventually, though.

Oh, I know, but Valve did speak of the game rather freely in the two years after the informal announcement, so there's very little difference. Half-Life 3, on the other hand, they've been perpetually coy about.
