They needed to sell the system to the people, it wasn't that hard to announce games for it, even if it was just an image. Even with the 3DS they announced Smash Bros without any screens at all and other games with just images but this has shown me that I can wait a year or two for the Wii U and not a day-one buy. Look at this thread and see the reaction of the people. Nintendo needed to convince the consumer to buy it and they failed.

Hahaha, so good!
They all sucked for different reasons, let's leave it at that. I don't want to derail the thread, but I don't think any of them understand just how many of their consumers WATCH the conferences. Geez, Nintendo had things they didn't reveal until RIGHT AFTER their conference?! Like...what the?! Anyways, I never thought you could "call" a winner at E3 just based on the conferences. They've always just been fun to me to get to see what the journalists get to see. I really do wish though that all three of them "opened up" to the idea that EVERYONE is watching them, not just those their at that moment. That being said, another great one from the Iwatabanana (it sounds much funnier as one word, just try it! It's almost like Wara Wara!): ![]() A great loop by Whitehawk. |

Not really, the whole point of the original was that Nintendo didn't move, as they had won without doing a thing, since the other conferences were so bad. Now even Nintendo's ended up sucking.
Ubisoft won, but not "by default", they put effort into their line up and put on a good show. |
