Subscribed for campaign and co-op goodness. Looking very forward to this one.
I'm curious about the campaign co-op. Is it drop-in, drop-out? And do co-op players just replace one of the in-game allies? Or is it a switch between solo+AI or co-op? I guess what I'm wondering if its me and one other player will we still have one or two allied AI in the campaign?

and I don't think it's drop-in, drop-out while in-progress, if that's what you are asking |

Nice OP btw. Not too minimal and also not a bloated mousewheel breaker. It's warm porridge right. Also a big thumbs up to the civilian system and optional challenges in campaign. I also hope the AI is as improved as the OP says. That right there is the key to replayability and the long term enjoyment of guerrilla mode. |

I hope we see some PC footage before launch so I can make my decision. I know we won't and if we do, it won't tell us if it's optimized or not, but at least seeing it in motion means it's real...lol
That short film has me more hyped for this game than anything else this summer. |

I hope this doesn't end up being the case, but I do get a bit of a Splinter Cell Conviction vibe off of everything I have seen of the campaign.

Me too, customization makes the game and charcter you play much more personal. I hope they don't allow you to make complete insane and non-realistic mods to the guns though, like in Army of Two.

The beta got my hopes up. Have the ps3 version preordered and unless it's horrible, I will pick up the pc version as well when it drops.
ps3 for split screen coop with friends and PC for online and proper controls. Me and my friends still play rainbow six vegas 2 all the time, hopefully an proper successor for our split screen gaming has been found. |

The customization is definitely one of the selling points. It's awesomely in-depth and the simple inclusion of a shooting range to try out each and every attachment, free of any in-game charge, is such a nice touch. |

Beta was fun, but they need to fix the maps and modes a small bit for me to consider it. Along with the leveling system. I feel the "hardcore" are going to have a HUGE item tactical advantage more than "experience" advantage that'll give them the ability to stomp all over new players.

Speaking of the Gunsmith and other features/mechanics that should exist in more games, I'm pretty excited to finally be able to shoot someone wih a silenced weapon and catch their limp body before it hits the ground. Ballin' as balls. That hasn't been in any other game, has it?

Collector's is Australia & New Zealand Only The rest you should be able to get in any country I believe I had all the info in the OP but ran out of room towards the end and had to cut it all out |

Going with the 360 version for the superior online community. Even though the PC version looks insanely good, the 360 versions of Ghost Recon's and Rainbow Six's always have amazing communities(Everyone on mics, large groups of people playing for years, and no shitty 15 year olds yelling "fuck" every five minutes)
Can't wait for next week.... |

That changes my perception of the game. I thought it was like Rainbow Six.
A engaging TPS game would be pretty sweet. I don't think I ever played a really good hardcore military TPS this gen. Uncharted and Gears 3 is fun but never a military-styled combat. I just hope it isn't standard and tame. I hope it's intense and fast-paced. Haven't played the beta but the response seems to be positive. I'm interested for sure. |

the adversarial modes (conflict, saboteur, decoy and siege) have matchmaking like any other shooter |

I have a strong feeling that - much like, say, Gears of War 3 - the SP/campaign and adversarial MP in GR:FS will basically feel like two completely different games. I watched a developer walk-through on GT the other day and it was insultingly boring. You know that 'mark & execute' mechanic in SC: Conviction that no one liked? Well, it's back and you can designate a total of 4 targets now! COOL, YO. The 7 minute demo boiled down to 'cloak > highlight enemies > press a button > move up > repeat'. And I'm not condemning the game to being comprised solely of that, but hey, it was a developer trying to show off the game. It'll be a CoD campaign; I hate CoD campaigns. |

I hate most of em, but co-op does have a tendency to make everything better.
Maybe I'm unusual here though, since I really dug SC: Conviction. I even wanted a few aspects of Conviction to carry over to the next Ghost Recon (UI, objective and cinematic stylings), but mark-execute really isn't one of those things. You're expected in GRAW to know how to aim and to take down multiple foes quickly through skill, not a shortcut. Although keep in mind that GRAW 2 had some of these elements, where you'd mark a target and have one or more of your AI squadmates take them down. |

Beta was great. Me and a friend who used to play GR and GRAW played it and had a blast.
I just don't understand why this game took so long to make and why it took them so long to make another mainline Ghost Recon game. Five years and 2 months ago was when GRAW 2 was released. WTF? I can sort of understand the long wait for a new Rainbow Six game as the last one seemed like it had an identity crisis. |

It just didn't feel like ghost recon to me. Felt more like a third person rainbow six vegas/mixed with call of duty, but this is just my opinion and is the reason why i cancelled my pre-order. You should try it out yourself. There has been mixed feelings amongst the ghost recon community. Some people enjoy it, others like myself hate it. redbox it or something for a day and see if you like it or not.
