More customization? Nice one.
But I've seen this game in motion, and I really hope the upped color palette doesn't make it look so blendy that it is unplayable. |

I'm playing through the first game now and have far more gripes than I remember having the first time round when it came out. Still love it though.
I hope they fix up some of the stuff that I find irritating. The world is too broken up, it becomes a chore figuring out where you need to go and the often numerous loads required to get there. I hope they fix the loot randomizing algorithm. I'm sick of getting the same 12 ammo 50 damage combat rifle over and over and over. I hope they make grinding easier if they are going to have difficulty jumps for those who don't want to do every single side quest along the way. I hope they refine the Second Chance mechanic, it's more of a nuisance than a cool system imo. I hope they fix the save system. I appear at a different point than where I saved on loading the game pretty much every time. |

Iffy Q&A, I'd like to hear less about the obvious performance tweaks and stupid bullshit like trophies and more about the gaping flaws in the original
Edit: Oh, it's the PS3 version. yeah I'd ask about framerate then, the first one dipped into the single digits in parts. Caused me to sell it off and buy a new GPU the next week. Actually one of the first things that pushed me back into PC gaming :lol I thank them for that. I wish there were more broad questions asked about some of the key faults I had with the original: -Is there going to be more tuning done with the difficulty? More modes? First game was stupidly easily on both passes. After Diablo III I'm not going to have much tolerance for a poor scaling game in this sub-genre. -Has there been any hefty work done to the loot randomization methods? Loot was horrible in Borderlands -Any thoughts on class design? More tweaks is better but the quality and diversity needs to be raised, the skills and trees in Borderlands were already bad when they came out, three years later and some big pushes in the genre they're much worse.
