And KStew as Snow White doesn't exactly give me confidence. Her line delivery in the trailer feels flat and lifeless. At the very least, however, I'm hoping for some good visual FX scenes.

I'm thinking this will be worth seeing just for the visuals, which kind of remind me of del Toro's overall style. Very cool stuff. |

It's probably gonna be the old "villain seeks to destroy the one who will slay them but in the process ends up inadvertently building that one to be the hero they were destined to be" trope.

I really like the song Florence + The Machine did for the soundtrack:

I like her, or I THINK I like her, if I ever watch this film, I'll pay close attention to her acting, I do believe she has something. When she gives interviews she has this johnny depp weirdness that should translate into good acting but she hasn't done much so far so I give her the benefit of the doubt,. |

In the first film, I think she gave a good redention of a puzzled teenager who didn't know what was going on with her vampire boyfriend. After that, it all went downhill and she potrayed a brainless annoying chic with no redeeming qualities whatsoever. this could have been exacerbated by two things: her Character, Bella, was supposed to be "so much in pain" that she was unable to show any emotion and or cry, I once read that in the sequels Bella was supposed to be in "the pain after the pain", thus being like dead, just there and that is what she turned into, a sack of potatoes would have shown more expression than her in the twilight films and I think this was coupled with the fact that she thought the whole twilightmania was pretty stupid, we got those awful performances from her. that being said, I really like Kristen stewart's person(a), often I feel like she is about to scream " wake up people!, this twilight poop stinks! go watch something else! " hehehe. Her interviews with dakota fanning promoting runaways are very funny and both girls are very likable, and smart girls, you can tell, nothing like twilight. |

I'm sorry.
I'm a lover of serious film and usually hate the most formulaic of bloated Hollywood popcorn flicks. But this looks dope as fuck and I'm more excited about it than anything this year after Promethueus and The Hobbit. |

The performance of an actor or actress can differ so much depending on the director, that's why I haven't written off certain actors as being terrible just yet.
Kristen Stewart is known mainly for the Twilight movies (which have recieved negative to mixed reviews), to judge her acting capacity purely on those films would be unfair. |

I still can't believe they want to convince the audience that Kristin Stewart is "fairer" than Charlize Theron. And I'm not even hating on her (I don't care about Twilight), it's just... Charlize is the prettier one (although older) no matter what :/ Kristin looks like an average girl.
The movie itself looks interesting. I love the art direction they are going with. It's kind of weird being hyped for a "Snow White" movie :lol. |

I mean, Charlize's character seems to have stolen the beauty of many beautiful maidens, making her the ultimate expression of femenine beauty. That in contrast to Kristen's role, who probably portrays a younger, rather naive girl that will turn into a gorgeous women later on, triggering the queen's urgence to seize her while she is still young(er).. that's what I am thinking, at least. |

Oh my god at the "Snow White isn't the fairest LOL" nonsense. First, get over it, seriously. Second, the trailers even say that Snow White isn't the fairest at the point of the movie, but will become fairest. So they aren't even directly comparing Stewart and Theron at that point in the story.

I have not seen Runaways, but I saw Adventureland and I wasn't impressed at all, but that could be because of the Twilight taint. I will probably see this movie and will try and keep an open mind. |
