Skies of Arcadia
- I, personally, would not mind turn-based random battles. But I want people to buy this game, so an encounter system like in Xenoblade would do just fine, with the battle system made more action-y. While sailing though, I dunno what to do besides random encounters. Maybe a system to put crew members on monster-killing duty. Maybe scrap them entirely. - Keep the ship battle system mostly the same, but don't have 5 seconds between each shot. Make it snappy. Also, allow more decisions like how to position the ship. see below - I've been playing lots of Uncharted Waters: New Horizons recently. Bring back the ship purchasing system that was scrapped in the first game. Allow the player to have a fleet of, say, four ships. With maybe two more in reserve which you can keep at your base. You could purchase different kind of ships from each culture, like a Valuan Spectre class or a Nasrean gunboat or whatever. And you can name them and maybe paint them all that. Make a 'dodge' attribute for smaller ships so they can be useful. - Then, you could have ship battles between entire fleets! I'm thinking you'd be using the engine from Valkyria Chronicles, and on a Wii U pad maybe, to make planning out where each ship should go easier. And assign at least three crew members to each ship so they can battle. Give plenty of crew members. It'd probably make the ship battles a lot less boring. - Save cash by doing cutscenes with the in-game engine, again. Worked fine for the first game and Xenoblade. |

Couldn't be worse than what Team Ninja made from what I hear though.

The RTS like fleet battles, and subsequent ship management on the Wii U pad sounds incredible.

My first impulse thought was Rival Schools, because I love it and we'll never see another one again, probably. But then I thought that if it's going to be a real revamp, maybe going back to something farther would be better. So I thought of Killer Instinct. I was never a big fan, but it's a series we likely won't be seeing again and I think if brought back properly a lot of people would appreciate it.
My other possible choice, one that I like way more than KI, is Jet Set Radio. I doubt there's gonna be a new one anytime soon. |

I'd make a totally amazing 3D Bionic Commando game, all I have to do is to avoid doing everything wrong.
60 FPS, improved controls, larger environments, better swinging opportunities, and style inspired by Rearmed should go a long way. It'd be rad. But I'd probably fuck it up, because what do I know about game development? Nothing, that's what. |

System Shock 3. I would set it on commercial cruiser that acted as sort of vacation spot, the same way as modern sea ships often are. I would make the main hero a newly wed ex-military who’s traveling with his wife. Due to some unforeseen anomaly the ship would get badly damahed and be forced to jump out in unknown space – in the system where there is planet where the remains of SS2’s ship crashed. Shodan left some drones in the space and through them she starts to take control over the whole ship, seeing it as a way to escape this lifeless system. So it would become a race to get the hell out of this system before Shodan makes it impossible.
About 70% of the game would be traditional SS-like experience – controlling one single guy exploring corridors filled with horrors. The remaining 30% would be about managing the survivors. The final goal of the game would be to get the small escape ship operational and sabotage the main ship. Main hero wouldn’t be able to do it alone, so for many tasks he would need to use other people. The way I figure it, while we often had many sci-fi horror games, none of them truly recreated the genre. What was lacking was running away from the monsters. I would make it a huge part of the game. Using airlocks to blow the monsters away, setting up barricades, blocking the doors etc. Second thing, monsters aren’t truly scary unless they kill people, so it would be constant struggle to keep other survivors alive, a struggle the player would often loose. There would be simple, but pretty deep character progression system for other survivors, you would need to get food for them. There would be a time limit for the campaign, not so much in hours, but more like blocks of time. During each block a gamer would only be able to do one mission himself, so he always would need to send other team on their own mission too. Both would be done at the same time and gamer would only have advisory-like role for NPCs, not full control, and even that would require serious multitasking because the mosnters in FPP mode wouldn’t wait. I would put big emphasis on hacking, making it simplified Uplink-like. There would be a lot of zero-g scenes, as player would need to leave the ship to gather parts floating in the space or fix brach that if left alone would eventually cause the suffocation of the whole crew. |

Earth Bound. WiiU
Top down isometric view. Grand battle animations. Silly story. Lot's to explore. Four player Multiplayer. Orchestrated soundtrack. No dialog, just text (done in retro style). Great use of of swapable WiiU screen for multiplayer, single player with HUD, and tablet only play. |

Open RollerCoaster Tycoon: "Mod Community, Go Wild!" Edition.
It'd be built for mods. Every aspect of the game will by open ended and modable. You want to change the coaster textures? You bet. You want to change the UI? Here's a tool to help you with that! Peeps? Skybox? Sounds? Here's a link to the community mods we like. Oh and you want to share them with others? you can upload them to our community site. Oh and here are some coasters and textures B&M thought you guys might like. |

Mega Man X
X is the only playable character (until New Game+, which adds Zero), 2D SNES graphics, wicked awesome chiptune-guitar soundtrack, seamless day/night and weather cycles, full "beat a boss and see the environmental changes in all other levels" support, sequence breaking support, two 20-second "cutscenes" in the whole game, more weapon-dependent environmental destruction and use, for PSN/XBLA/eShop/3DS retail. Native res on 3DS with full 3D parallax background support. |

Speaking of Crystal Chronicles...
For Wii U, basically the first game with double the content, add in the magicite and loot/visible equipment systems from Echoes of Time, add lag-free online, make it like the RPG version of Monster Hunter, and get Kumi Tanioka to do the score again. |

Timing based platforming + your idea of Weapon dependent environment destruction/path clearing - with an instantaneous re-spawn, due to the increase in trial & error based gameplay. I'm drooling.

I'd totally make a new Ice Climbers game. It'd be kind of like the Ice Climber stage in Melee's adventure mode where you have to continuously climb and battle enemies. I'd ramp up the enemies to near SHUMP like levels, add some light RPG elements (maybe even some rouge-like elements as well?) and boss fights.
Or maybe an Ice Climbers game that's Metroid-esque. All I know is that I'd make an Ice Climbers game. |

I'd reboot/rebirth/remake/whatever Project Firestart, an Alien influenced adventure/horror for the c64.
at least a 13-year old would cut the f'alcie l'alcie p'alcie crap and get straight to the sexxing.

Ultima.
It would be a more accessible version of Ultima VII, that brings back the sci-fi weirdness of the early Ultimas and tries to make it all mesh. A modern game with a concept as ambitious as the Avatar (you, the player, accessing another dimension as a representation of yourselF) absolutely needs to happen. |

For Ice Climbers, introduce a second pair of characters and enable four-player co-op. Set the game on a mountain range, and make each mountain different -- start off with ice and snow and then have our heroes scaling haunted monastaries, ancient ruins, clockwork factories, erupting volcanoes, etc, contending with all sorts of wild and wacky enemies. Put it on WiiU, and make it so if the main TV screen scrolls up past you (maybe due to the pesky Polar Bear), then you continue playing on the Upad. Also put in a nifty editor using the Upad touchscreen so you can create your own vertical platforming layouts and share them with other people online. And give our four heroes a solid selection of abilities, which allow them to overcome obstacles and traverse gaps in a variety of ways. Give them massive bosses to conquer at the top of each "mountain" before proceeding to the vegetable-gathering bonus game and the condor flight at the end. Make it a WiiU launch title in the spirit of the NES original. Done and done.
