I actually expected it to do somewhere around 30-31 million after all was said and done, so not even getting close to that is significantly worse than I expected.

The point of those characters is to expose ignorance by behaving in unbelievably stereotypical ways and still somehow getting away with it. That Bruno made America so completely uncomfortable made it a great success to me. I saw both in a college town. The crowd loved Borat universally. Dudes in popped collars were absolutely disgusted by the end of Bruno, and I couldn't have been happier. |

Avatar should take over the lead from Avengers in Week 7. Avengers has enough momentum to keep it ahead until then, but it will be losing ground from here on out. |

This may be a joke, but this ACTUALLY HAPPENS in the movie.
Seriously, at one point they're all... "We have no radar. There's no way of knowing where the enemy is." "Not exactly. We can use tsunami monitoring buoys to study wave displacement." So they bring up this grid that looks just like the board game and have a big action scene where they're literally playing Battleship. They use the phonetic alphabet to make it "cooler" but it's just the game. It's crazy. |

It's incredibly corny and stupid looking in the theater. I think most of the three rows surrounding me that night burst out into laughter, with a lot of 'what the fuck are they even looking at?' comments bouncing back and forth.

Everyone in my theater was clapping when that scene happened. The music worked really well for it.

Also, I did my part last night and watched The Dictator. It's like the most hilariously offensive movie ever. Loved every minute of it. |

Speaking of 'The Avengers' score --- I think it speaks volumes to just how little personality these Marvel Studios films have that their's not a memorable score for any of them; just really generic cookie-cutter blockbuster music.

I loved how Rihanna was wearing a hat in every single scene to hide her giant forehead. They jump off an exploding boat into the ocean and climb out into a lifeboat and she is still wearing her fucking hat. |

The movie is good. Majority of the posters here think its good, the american and worlwide public thinks its good only you and souldiver think otherwise. You have trolled every Avengers thread for months on end now and the schtick is getting old and tired. of course this comment is all tongue in cheek in case I need a quick excuse |
