Halo 4 looks like it will be very good, but I'm relying on CD Projekt, Valve and Eidos Montreal to save the future of gaming. Hopefully Bungie, Irrational and Rockstar North can deliver as well and drag us away from the direction we're heading.

edit: obviously Nintendo will do their thing, but the industry doesn't tend to follow the direction of their games.
