I kind of like them. The one I made to represent my dad looks just like him too!

I saw someone on GAF call them "Offensively Inoffensive", which I thought sounded like a very desparate attept to hate them. Wish I could find that thread.

And for me, Xbox Avatars are one of the few reasons I have to still care about Xbox Live over free PSN online. They've made the whole "my friends exist and are online" atmosphere so much better than it used to be.
