Yeah, and the cast is shaping up to be something really good. I have a good feeling about it, it'll probably end up being a better film than even Iron Man 1.

The only thing that could possibly hold this movie back from being great is Marvel Studios.

Though I still think it gets undeserved bad rap on GAF. Definitely not a bad movie, still better than CA for example. Just not as good IM1.
Agree with the bolded, disagree with the rest. CA was much better than IM 2, and as good as IM 1.

Oh god it looks like I would be against GAf on this.

I thought he was annoying as fuck in Iron Man 2. His scenes were very cheesy and cringe worthy.

Thank god, not because I hate him directing Ironman (on the contrary) but because I want him to continue making Magic Kingdom.

No, I didnt hate Ironman 2 (yes, I think the first was better). I liked a lot the father of Tony Stark being essentially Walt Disney and using epcot and New York Fair 64 references, as using Richard Sherman to make the main theme.

So, seeing what he did with that aspect of Ironman 2 (he is like the biggest fan of Walt Disney that Hollywood has) I cant wait how he does Magic Kingdom.

No way no how, son. CA > IM2 can be a matter of opinion, but CA > IM1. :lol ! The numbers and reviews alone show it all. Cap had potential but fell apart a bit.

I agree there's not a huge gap between it and IM1, but there is a gap no doubt.

I'm just referring to my personal opinion. IM1 isn't a perfect movie either.

I liked Iron Man 2 and without Widow and Fury the Avengers movie doesn't work nearly as well IMO.

The only order that matters:
The Avengers > Iron Man > Captain America > Thor > Iron Man 2 > The Incredible Hulk

Close. Swap Captain America with The Avengers and you'd be right.

1st IM movie was excellent. 2nd was a letdown. All other stuff mentioned in here was kinda blah (I didn't even bother with Thor)

If they can (somehow) make the 3rd movie more personal and not "hey it's another commercial to get you psyched for more of the Avengers" then I will raise an eyebrow, but I am skeptical.

Maybe I am just superhero movie'd out?

I can agree with this list, though CA and Thor swap spots from time to time with me.

Tip of the hat, Jon, tip of the hat.
Well the dude did produce the movie...I'm sure he got a fat paycheck.

I'm in the same boat. I actually liked Thor better on my last rewatch.
