i've eaten mcdicks breakfast menu more than their regular menu and i've had everything many times. i would say the best (ie most consistent) meal from there would be sausage mcmuffin w egg and hash browns. my other favorite would be bacon egg and cheese biscuit, though it is far less consistent because of the bacon content and biscuit texture, though when made well it's hard to beat. i liked mcgriddles and bagels at one point but lost my taste for them years ago. also if the biscuits that day are good a nice option would be the southern style chicken biscuit.

On the biscuit. Its a biscuit split in half with bacon, egg, and cheese in the middle.

I know what it is now, but the source of the confusion was that in not-America, a "biscuit" is what you would call a "cookie". So when people start talking about Bacon and Egg Biscuits I'm imagining... well you know. Apparently you use "Biscuit" to refer to what not-America calls "Scones". This is still unusual, but at least this is relatively sane (and seems good in theory).

A biscuit is not a scone.

Scones are flaky, biscuits are crumbly.

The best biscuits are Red Lobster's cheddar biscuits. The whole rest of the menu can die in a fire.

Scones can be either depending on how they are made, and according to information I turned up in some quick googling there is no clear way to differentiate other than "biscuits are American", because of the diversity in the way that both items are made.

In American speak scones and biscuits are clearly differentiated. The former most often being paired with fruits as a pastry, biscuits usually take on the role of a bread for the meal.

But in recent years, their coffee is like the equivalent of crack, I seem to be ordering a cup to go every morning. Same with goes with their 10 cent muffins.

Definitely agree. Biscuits and scones are different. Biscuits are fluffier and scones are...denser.

If I'm not as hungry, I will go with an egg mcmuffin. Can't do the bacon, egg and cheese biscuit, McDonald's biscuits are way too dry.

They should make a bagon, egg and cheese mcmuffin. I would eat that shit like woah.

I read the thread title as a "I had a fight at McDonalds" because the fight at the club thread was right below this one. My response was going to be "congratulations you've just experienced the lowest point of your life, it can only get better from here on out."

Sausage biscuit.

I used to love the spicy chicken biscuit, but all of a sudden one day they had substituted a dry, salty chicken puck, which I actually returned thinking it had gone bad. No, they had discontinued my favorite breakfast item and replaced it with the southern chicken patty. It's terrible! I switched to the sausage.

I hated them the first time I ever ate one, but I decided to give it another shot when they had a cheap deal for them and loved them.

I eat the breakfast burritos to, but they can be awful pretty often depending on what time you order them.

Edit: Chick-fil-a shits all over every other fast food breakfast though. Their chicken biscuits, spicy chicken biscuits, and breakfast burritos are godlike.
