Well, Eurocom made Dead Space Extraction, which is a fantastic on-rails experience.

Might actually be a good Kinect title.

Edit: Here is a pic of Emma Watson, it is related to this story somehow.

Don't they use wands in harry potter? I wish Microsoft would start letting devs use peripherals with the device.

This. If they are covering all the films, the design is likely to be narrow in scope, meaning really scripted and on rails.

Wasn't this a small feature in one of the other games? I just remember lots of "stupefy" voices from a Giantbomb video. :D

Wasn't there already a Kinect support for Deathly Hallows? I remember the game being super shitty too.

Dear Warner Bros and Lucasarts,

your franchises involve a dude holding a stick and waving it in the air. There's two consoles that provide such sticks to their audiences and you chose the one where no peripherals are allowed.

Now how hard did you guys think before you made those decisions?

Does this mean my hopes of a Elder Scrolls style HP RPG are officially dead?

Gotta be better than that awful-looking Kinect mode in the Deathly Hallows game. Wouldn't be surprised if it gets a stage demo at the Microsoft conference.

Yeah, even the LEGO treatment took two games to cover that.

Well, Wii Harry Potter with remote as wands haaas already been done a time or two; Move would just be a continuation. This Kinect game will be something else altogether; though not necessarily more appropriate.

If they get Emma Watson on stage dressed like that to demo Harry Potter Kinect, the conference automatically redeems itself.

...for the low price of only $60! And you can't just use a stick either, the Kinect will know.

Yeah I think this is confirmation in itself that it'll take up at least 35% of the Microsoft E3 show. And they will be baffled when people don't have explosive diarrhoea of excitement.

Ugh.

The trailer also showcases plenty of on-rails segments, but I bet kids wont mind. I'm surprised Sorcery wasn't enough to convince WB to make a big Move game.
