You're being ridiculous dude. Your screenshot is scrolled to the very very top of the screen. One scroll down and you'd see reaction posts - hell, you'd also see the rest of the post.

Some might say that they want this to be seen so maybe someone might be spurred into action. Right now this is just a tug of war between principle members of the UN council, with Syrian leadership playing at peace and still engaging in slaughter. I say let it be seen and heard.

Yes that would be common sense, if this was 4chan and the link to the video was from liveleak or something. Not when it's GAF and freaking Youtube. |

Uhhhh why does "if it's on YT it's ok" serve as an acceptable way to determine if something is okay to get posted on GAF? This isn't really a thread to discuss this but I don't think my comment is thread-worthy... I just feel this has been happening a lot on GAF and needs to be aired out.
Clearly that link should be removed from OP. Doesn't matter if it points to YT or WSHH or some shock site... The OP is responsible for the content he/she directs us to, not the website. If someone posted a link to some porno that hasn't been taken down from Youtube yet, they'd be banned. That video clearly upset a ton of GAFers who weren't prepared for it. Video of brutally murdered kids don't stay on YT for long. It will get taken down most likely. |

You're absolutely dense if you clicked the YT link and didn't expect to see a video showcasing lot of dead bodies. It's that simple.
o.t. - It's a saddening that this is still happening in so many corners of the world. I'd say massacre isn't human, but then I'd be wrong. We're fucked up. |

Hell no. There's sufficient warning that it's graphic and for starters, the thread is about the massacre of civilians. The first link blurs out most of the gore for people who want the report without the gore but it's a little head-in-the-sand to say something should be removed from a discussion just because it's an upsetting fact of the brutal slaying of children in Syria.

"Common sense" would tell you to read some reactions about a video featuring 100 deaths.

Watched the video, violence doesn't usually bother me but I can't bring myself to watch it again.
Pretty ballsy of them, but getting the UK public riled up won't do anything unfortunately. The UN's hands are tied. |

Haven't read the whole thing, and I'm not saying this just to go against the grain, but this is not something Assad's forces would do. This is counter productive to their stance. Sure they want to supress the opposition, but doing this would not only make the opposition more angry, but it would give reason for outsiders to come in and support them.
These sort of tactics are straight from Al-Qaeda. They will KILL anyone and claim them as martyrs for a greater cause. This is nothing new. Either way. Those who did this need a slow painful death. |

Read the UN report instead of watching the video.
Pretty damning of the government but also the rebels sound pretty scummy in how they almost seem to relish putting non violent people in the firing line. I honestly find it hard to imagine how sending aid to rebels or invading would make their lives better in the short term. This one is a bit too tricky for me to sort out by myself. |

It's a recent report but not covering this incident.

The report to me shows an escalation of govt response that might plausibly end up here. As has been pointed out here America had no problem killing lots of Vietnamese children when they thought it was what needed to be done.

Yeah, that's one of the worst things I have ever seen. I literally sat there with my mouth agape for about 20 seconds and had to turn it off because I actually became a little nauseated from it (and I don't consider myself that squeamish either). I have a feeling that this might be the last straw, and will provoke some kind of foreign intervention. Global reaction to it reminds me of the reaction to the Račak massacre in 1999.

Also, the rebel forces could have a lot of mercenaries, like most of the ''rebels'' in Libya, so maybe they didn't care if the bombs would hit civilians. |

I don't think it's the rebels. Rebels wanted freedom. Assad fights rebels. 3rd party takes advantage escalating violence. This wouldn't be the first time in the Middle East that has happened...

The whole uprising in Syria escalated because government forces tortured and killed children. Of course they're the most likely culprit here, don't be naive.
