I'm not looking forward to any announcements. Hopefully Capcom release Street Fighter V a couple of years into the next generation of consoles. SFV in 2015 on Xbox 3 and PS4 following an arcade release please.

I hope Boon will show something (Shaolin Monks 2?). Not capitalizing on a success of MK feels like dumbest idea ever. Great time to take a break Netherealm, sigh.

Maybe extra content for SFxT, maybe pre-production work for the next generation (but we won't see it announced this E3 in that case).

New Smash Brothers... maybe, maybe not. Sakurai might announce something like it for Wii U, that would be cool. Who else is there... Netherrealm? No idea what they're doing.

Outside of those, I'm not really interested in the franchises by other companies (Namco, Tecmo, Sega).
If they announce something for Q1 2013, that would be a whole year after SFXT. They don't have to release whatever they announce this Fall. I think 1 game a year is pretty good. I think the cannibalizing stuff was mostly PR spin though. They just didn't want to outright say they did a bunch of thins wrong with SFXT.

Yeah, honestly I'm not expecting anything from Capcom outside of updates. They might have even held back Darkstalkers because of SFxT. Maybe a tease, but not a full reveal. Maybe they'll still do it if it was planned, but secretly delay it, or maybe they planned to have it ambiguous just in case.

They meant saturation in short term release period. Saturation across years has not been an issue so I don't see why they have to delay they're entire lineup for the next five years over SFxTK being fairly close to KoF and UMvC3 and v2012.

To some extent, they have a point outside of damage control. It's a big reason why SFxTK is gradually losing interest amongst even those who bought it.

VF6 is totally coming, guys. I can't see Sega giving VF5FS more than a month on console before it's outdated.

That's how Sega rolls.

A 30 second TxSF promo trailer. The game is never heard from again. (IIRC Harada is not going to E3 so this isn't even that likely.)
Something from ASW - probably a P4U trailer.
Capcom show a trailer for the disk-locked twelve characters, then announce a price drop on the "DLC" to 1200MSP/$15 due to "fan feedback". Go on to announce a major revision of SFxT's gameplay that will launch day and date with the DLC unlocking. Ono is absent.
SSB:WiiU trailer and showcase of the game on the show floor - four characters. Mario, Link, Reggie and a 3rd party character.
Sony Smash Brothers gets shown with more characters, probably a trailer.
Netherealm/WB showcase either an update to MK9, a port to the Wii U or MKvsDC2. I wish.

Sega probably don't announce anything. VF6 will probably be showcased next year at an arcade trade show, not E3.

And I'm out.

Ideally I'd like to see:

Smash-U teaser
KOF XIV
Darkstalkers IV
Dissidia 3 (or whatever crazy ass name they call it) on Vita (this seems the most likely)

But we'll see...

Why are you guys expecting KoF XIV already?

Do they churn them out faster than Capcom or what? Not familiar with the series history.

i wouldn't expect it that fast either, 13 was only out so quickly because 12 was a complete bust.

no guess on capcom, ono wanted sfxt to cater to casual gamers, not the fighting fans.but its the fighting fans that made mvc2 and sf4 extremely popular. its free pr, but they screwed them with the gems.

Well, before XII they were pretty much yearly.

Still, I don't expect XIV soon tbh.

They used to come out on an annual basis.

I'd put money on Alpha 4 before a nintendo vs capcom ever gets made.
