Most intense and frenetic song build-ups/crescendos? Live footage only! #1

Thom Yorke losing his fucking shit during "Idioteque"

The members of post-rock band Yndi Halda absolutely losing their minds during the final crescendo of this song

Bruce Springsteen and like 30 other musicians (including Conan O'Brien) rock out hard on Late Night

Post more epic, high-energy moments like these. Genre of music matters not!

Underworld - Moaner

(strobe/flash warning)

Used to be the closer/final encore track. 3 crescendos in itself along with the crowd bouncing around the flare and Karl swinging the strobe around near the end. Plenty going on :)

I thought this would be a thread about build ups and crescendos in songs, not singers losing their shit on stage

I leave disappoint.

Yeah, sorry for the stupid thread title. Would a mod care to change it for me?

Jonsi live: Grow Till Tall

It's a bit long, but left me stunned when I saw it live. I had tears streaming down my face and had to sit down.

Damn you, was just about to post some fucking Dillinger. You missed the best and most crazy concert though, this is how a band that has just been told that they are not getting paid looks like

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L6F3UJsZCcE&t=1m7s

Another classic is their furnace performance that delayed every other band that had to play after for so many hours. The end is just amazing.

Ravel - Bolero. The entire piece builds up to one big crescendo.

Its all relative. Dillinger put on one of the best shows I have ever seen an opening band ever play.

Showbiz, live @ Reading. The buildup to the final scream is quite good.

Wow that has to be one of the worst audiences ever. Good gravy. <no movement and no reaction while the song plays><scattered applause>

Well, a little departure from the other examples, but this is it for me. Most amazing opening song of all time, and it will never be topped. I flew half way across the country for this and it was more than worth it. Pearl Jam Release at PJ20
We were 40 rows back
Just watch the whole thing, It's music at its best.

Nine Inch Nails - Somewhat Damaged live from the stage

The whole thing is one big crescendo. Starts hitting the biggest point about 2:09.

Edit:

and this performance of Piggy, back when Trent was a little bit nuts.

I've always loved the buildup to Boris - Floorshake (Live at Wolf Creek)
http://youtu.be/hxxzvwqWQQ4

Unfortunately this was the only good recording since the album version sucked. This song is so fucking amazing and faithful to this recording every time they play this.

Well it certainly isn't music that is made to make you feel comfortable with the unusual time signatures and what not but I love it, about the only metal I can still stand. Gotta appreciate those drumming patterns and skills, makes me hard every time, such a machine.

I agree. I fucking hate audiences that don't move around. I was at a Radiohead concert and I couldn't HELP but move around with Thom, and yet everyone else is standing around me like they're at some fucking classical music concert. It's like, "WTF is wrong with you?"
