Yeah, we didn't need a 50MB massive GIF for that.

How does it matter? 50MB is the limit for minus, larger are treated as a normal files for download not gifs and this topic should be all about gifs quality.

Try to show something special, something you might not readily be able to find or think not many people will have seen. Things like AAA shooter 4768439 headshot is probably going to be pretty boring to watch.

Name the games Try not to spoil recently released games File size: They should not be gigantic, I usually aim for 10-15MB but if the gif really really need to be longer or better quality then go for it but don't fill the thread with gifs over 30MB. Resolution: Usually between 30-50% of the original resolution I feel looks good. Keep in mind the file size though. This is not the High Res Screenshot thread so nothing that will stretch the post should be posted.

I'm not going into specifics about what can and can't be posted but take this as a general rule of thumb.

If your gif is huge (20MB+) you better hope people like what's in it.

If you have a gif say around 10MB I doubt anyone will care to much.

This post has taught me that Firefox is much better with GIFs than Chrome.

Same with RDR for me. I had to constantly camp and fake save 2 to 3 times to summon the sun back up. Didn't feel like the ol' west without the bright harsh sun.

Photoshop, but I edit the video in After Effects first to get the look I want.

I tried PS but it took a lot longer to go from FRAPS footage -> GIF compared to using vdub. Problem with vdub is that there doesn't seem to be any option to reduce GIF quality, so I've just been reducing the resolution to keep file sizes down.

When you guys say Photoshop, do you mean ImageReady, I have photoshop 7 and I can't edit animated gifs with it, but it comes with ImageReady that lets me do it.
