Suppose you're right. I just quickly took a look at Extraction's Wiki page and saw Visceral listed under developer. I guess they just supported Eurocom with certain aspects?

Well since the attack was on purpose and the ones behind it are most likely unitologists, I think its safe to assume that the ship was already inhabited by necromorphs and so once they crashed, they would immediately begin killing people for infectors to convert. That's the only logical explanation I can think of unless, they begun to evolve and have biologically sped up the rate of transformation. The first reason sounds more sensible to me considering it'd take time to assemble the large necromorph seen in the motion comic because it requires a large supply of bodies so that makes me think it was already aboard the crashed ship.

I wonder if when playing co-op, there's a lot of new narrative and dialogue scenes with Clarke and Carver. While the broad journey would probably remain the same, the presence of another character would change interaction considerably.
And if you aren't play co-op, does Carver still appear in a narrative capacity? Or is he not in the game at all? Or does he have a story that runs simultaneously to Isaac's in that case? Also, I'm curious about how Lexine will fit into this. I wish Dead Space 2 had come with more Single Player DLC like Severed :/ |

It was predictable, you know that Nicole is using clarke, once again for hours.
I thought Clarke dealing with Nicole ghost was rather poorly done, definetly there was more potential. Secondary characters aren't as remarkable with a couple of exceptions. Both the cult and the necrmoprh were more or less vaguely described in DS1 with a second game that could have expanded and develop them more. The result was terribly generic and uninspiring. |

That RIG the character John is wearing looks bad ass! I'm almost hoping there's an option to play with that suit in the solo campaign. Regardless, I still like the new slimmer suit that Isaac wears in DS2.
For the love of God let them keep using the same engine for the third game. Visceral is one studio where there is never any hesitation on my part as far as the PS3 version is confirmed. Game ran great on both consoles and imo, DS2 has the best controls of any third person shooter. |

Finally got to actually watch it. Very cool. I love this universe so much. Visceral and all the related creators have done a great job building this world out in various media projects. Hopefully there's another graphic novel to coincide with the game. The movies have been rough, but the comics were damned cool and the Martyr novel did a nice job setting up the background. It was good for a video game book.
I'm definitely interested to see what they do with a new environment. I wonder how they'll work in zero-gravity stuff. I'm extremely happy that it seems like co-op won't impact the single player experience. |

OK, I finally got to watch this and I'm pretty excited. It'll be nice to be in a different location and the video gives me faith that the horror elements will be fairly intact. It'll be interesting to see how the story weaves with Isaac's and I'm honestly kind of hoping that you can play as either character and experience it differently.
Dead Space 3 is now my most looked forward to title after watching this. |

I never played DeadSpace because I'm a wuss, But I just saw DeadSpace Downfall and Aftermath.
Funniest shit I have ever seen in a long time. Just wanted to share this with you all. Also, is Isaac super crazy like the people in the Anime movies? Because I remember reading that he was off his wagon. Is he really a loonytoon like the characters in the first 2 movies? |
