That a biopic is fictionalized is part of it. They are not the same as docus or docu dramas. |

If you were to ask Milos Forman or Peter Shaffer if the film were a biopic, they would almost certainly say no. Neither the film nor the play it was based on were designed as such. It's a phenomenal film. But it's not a biopic. You might as well classify Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter as a biopic if you're going to count Amadeus as one.

And as for 24hr Party People, one of my favorite movies. Funny how I forget it's a biopic. I love the jokes about Viny Reilly in too.
